First Penthouse Suite Experience. Birthday treat for my other half. Huge suite to ourselves, Dinner for two, full use of the leisure centre, beautiful gardens, breakfast delivered to the room. Unfortunately spa wasn't available, but that was our fault, we didn't reserve in advance. Appears to be very popular. The history of the place was fascinating and all the famous... More

I live locally, I use the Glenview hotel a lot for visiting friends and business associates staying overnight, they always enjoy their stay, the hotel is in a great location and maintains a high standard at all times, very pleasant staff and surroundings with good food. Unfortunately the Leisure Centre is another story, it is as if it is run... More

We had fourteen family members stay for one night. I found the staff to be very down to earth, extremely pleasant and helpful. I appreciated how the kids in our group were treated by the staff and not overlooked. I would definitely recommend and I look forward to staying there again.

Stayed here for 1 night, for a hotel it is very run down, needs a lot of money spent on it to bring it back to a good standard, tap fittings on the bath tub falling off or loose, stains on the furniture, the room was very cold on arrival, just to name just a couple of things, plus side... More

Positives first: rooms large, breakfast nice with good service. Negatives: brown water in bath - mentioned, told it is lighting in rooms - come on guys! Conservatory bistro food poor, cafe style, service here very poor. We had 4 guests visiting for a meal - one is gluten free. She asked about food contents and received the very inappropriate response... More

Lovely surroundings and the hotel has character and a modern feel If you are stopping for coffee or to watch a match or indeed staying for a few days you will be treated with warmth. The prices are very good and there is a really good leisure facility. And you are in the garden county. Staff are always on hand... More

Many thanks to all the team who looked after us from start to finish. The room was spectacular and so cosy. The decor was sumptuous. The staff were so friendly, helpful and informative throughout the evening. As for the food. Truly delicious. Most of us would have sold a body part for the chocolate brownie it was that heavenly. Really enjoyed our quick stay. I went for one night with my mother for a break from Dublin. I had stayed hereabout 7 or 8 years ago and thought since then it had got a bit dated. We were looking forward to using the pool and the jacuzzi but there were children's swimming lessons going on so it was the... More
