Stayed here due to buying Citydeal voucher, have to say at first when we drove to house, i was quite worried, this was because i saw it was quite full because of a wedding taking place, but from the time we were brought to our fab room til the time we checked out it was an amazing experience. Our room... More

Thank you for a supper review. On the night you stayed we had some of the wedding party in with us for a wedding that was to take place the following day. For a wedding at Rathsallagh you have to take exclusive use of the property so as to ensure your privacy on the day but also so as not... More

My husband and I stayed in Rathsallagh for a one night stay. The location of the property is beautiful, so I couldn't fault this. When we arrived at reception to check in we didn't find the lady on reception to be particularly welcoming. Our bags were brought to our room for us by a nice girl, called Therese and to... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Rathsallagh. We are delighted you found our property so beautiful and the staff generally friendly and helpful . We have few clarifications and of course some apology in relation to your review. At the out set its important to note that although you did have a €99 City Deal Gift Voucher, you... More

My husband and I stayed in Rathsallagh for our first Valentine's together as husband and wife (Saturday before Valentine's). The setting is beautiful and the staff are friendly. The rooms are spacious with luxurious bathrooms. However the tvs are tiny and outdated with poor reception. We are both foodies and found the food disappointing. Although our mains were nice, soup,... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Rathsallagh. I am disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your 2nd visit to us and I apologise for any shortcomings you experienced. You are correct about the TV’s we only have 36 inch ones ( and 24 inch in some rooms ) and there are only 6... More

Stayed there on New Year's Day. It was a double whammy as my parents gave this to us a birthday present for my wife AND they looked after the kids overnight. The 'hotel' is amazing. Full of charm along with the people working there. They put us in the Garden Room which was palatial and meal was exquisite. The bath... More

We got married in Rathsallagh on 28th December this year (2010) and I really couldn't praise the hotel and it's staff enough. From the moment we arrived ( and bear in mind the stressful weather conditions around the time of our wedding!) until the next day, the service was absolutely second to none. Almost all of our guests were amazed... More

Wow we had some December weather wise, at Rathsallagh there was over 30 inches of snow in the first week, and we are definitely not used to that in Ireland. You had great guests at your wedding, and the journeys people undertook in incredibly poor weather and road conditions just so that they could be with you on the day... More

We stayed for our wedding anniversary on 6th November on a two night break....................and what a wonderful break it was..........we parked the car and didn't move for the two days. We had friends visit each night for dinner and the food was just superb. The main reason we return to Rathsallagh is the wonderful warm welcome, from Dorothy on reception... More

We had a fantastic night in Rathsallagh House. Arrived in the afternoon, a little early for check in but our room was ready so we were delighted. Thank you for your kind review, it was very cold when you visited but thankfully you were able to snuggle up by our log and natural turf fires. We recently held our wedding reception at Rathsallagh and could not recommend it highly enough. Many of our guests stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Catherine was so accomodating and helpful to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The food and service were top class. We enjoyed clay pigeon shooting and a superb barbeque at the golf... More

We had our wedding reception at Rathsallagh House on 16 April 2010. Thank you so much for a wonderful review, we remember the ash cloud last April very well, the lengths people went to getting to Ireland and Rathsallagh for various events during the period were incredible. Rathsallagh is indeed a special place for a wedding as you found out, thank you so much for your kind words for all the staff... More
