We stayed for our wedding anniversary on 6th November on a two night break....................and what a wonderful break it was..........we parked the car and didn't move for the two days. We had friends visit each night for dinner and the food was just superb. The main reason we return to Rathsallagh is the wonderful warm welcome, from Dorothy on reception... More

We were delighted to see you back at Rathsallagh for your wedding anniversary, and thank you for taking the time to write a lovely review. Autumn is my favorite time of year here, the weather can be mild and with the stunning colors it’s a great time of year for a short break or even a wedding. Thanks once again... More

We had a fantastic night in Rathsallagh House. Arrived in the afternoon, a little early for check in but our room was ready so we were delighted. The room was huge, fantastic big bed and enormous bathroom. We decided as the weather was not so nice we sat reading the papers in one of their lovely drawing rooms with hot... More

Thank you for your kind review, it was very cold when you visited but thankfully you were able to snuggle up by our log and natural turf fires. I am delighted you noticed our great eggs, they come from our own hens , you may have noticed them happily running around in the farm yard behind the house. We do... More

We recently held our wedding reception at Rathsallagh and could not recommend it highly enough. Many of our guests stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Catherine was so accomodating and helpful to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The food and service were top class. We enjoyed clay pigeon shooting and a superb barbeque at the golf... More

Thank you for a lovely review. As you know Rathsallagh is exclusively yours for your wedding day and we are delighted that you got the most out of this magical setting. Using the Golf Club for a BBQ on the day after is a great idea, particularly when the sun is shining and you have that spectacular view of from... More

We had our wedding reception at Rathsallagh House on 16 April 2010. Our wedding day got off to a somewhat dramatic start with the ash cloud developing the day before meaning some of our guest were not able to make it!! However despite this sad fact we had the most wonderful wedding day and a big part of that is... More

Thank you so much for a wonderful review, we remember the ash cloud last April very well, the lengths people went to getting to Ireland and Rathsallagh for various events during the period were incredible. Rathsallagh is indeed a special place for a wedding as you found out, thank you so much for your kind words for all the staff... More

Thank you for giving us a great review, we cant wait to have you back and as you say with over 500 acres here there is plenty of space for getting lost in the beautiful Wicklow countryside. Keep on eye on our web site for some great upcoming offers. Looking forward to your return visit to Rathsallagh. Thanks again -... More

My wife booked a night in Rathsallagh as a present for me. I was looking forward to the night away as I had heard many good things about it. We had tried to go there a number of times but it had always been booked out. Check-in was fine and the room was quite big with a decent sized bathroom.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we are delighted you enjoyed the size of the room ( on average they over 50 sqm ) , and our chefs are thrilled with your appreciation of their cooking. They are however slightly confused over your description of breakfast. Every day we have a different breakfast special on, today... More

My wife and I spent one night in Rathsallagh recently and found the place utterly charming and can't wait to return. Describing Rathsallagh is difficult because, while it's visually beautiful, warm and inviting and run by wonderfully friendly staff, Rathsallagh appeals most to the soul. It is enchanting, graceful and soothes the soul with its unique rustic style which is... More

Thank you for summing up Rathsallagh so perfectly, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay , and our unique rustic style. Sometimes its hard to deliver the old fashioned experience in Ireland with some guests getting used to and confusing brand new resorts with fancy spas swimming pools gymnasiums as Country Homes when they are in fact soulless Hotels... We got married at Rathsallagh House in the first week of August 2009; it’s been a busy year and just reviewing it now!! We took over the rooms for two nights and people are still calling us up with great stories of their own experience of the weekend. To have your "own" house on your wedding day adds to the... More

Sometimes its hard for us to convey to prospective brides that special atmosphere that prevails when you take Rathsallagh exclusively for a wedding, you have summed it up beautifully thank you. Also thank you for your praise for Gillian, she is delighted, she has been with us for a long time, off on maternity leave now and we wish her... More

Went to a wedding to Rathsallagh House and stayed with three couples in the Eagle Lodge, belonging to Rathsallagh House but actually located outside the grounds. I didn't get to see the rooms in the House but other wedding guests were enthusiastic about them. For us, the Lodge itself was impressive enough (and much cheaper). Three huge bedrooms, all ensuite,... More

Thank you for a great review and for your praise for our staff. When you do have a wedding here you get exclusive use of the property and in that regard its almost as if each and every bride is a daughter of the property. Everyone here gets into the sprit of the celebration and as you found it makes... More

We booked a last minute one night stay and from the minute we arrived we were bowled over by the welcome & the friendliness of everyone we encountered. Thank you for a lovely review and for making particular mention of our hospitality which is all down to Rathsallagh being a family run property with staff who have been with us for a very long time.
