This place is amazing. We arrived tired from our flight and we welcomed with fresh scones and hot tea. The bedroom was large with a beautiful balcony overlooking a perfect garden. After a hot shower and a wonderful night sleep, our breakfast was abundantly overwhelming. The best part was the taste and Philamena's great charm. She makes you feel like... More

Stayed here for a work event back in May and loved it. Lovely rooms in a beautiful house and surrounding gardens, and nothing was too much hassle for John and Philomena - even getting up at six for breakfast which was served with a smile. Talking of breakfast, what a spread! Everything you could think of from a full Irish... More

We stayed here recently for one night and we had a lovely break. The house is really beautiful and grounds are lovely. We went for a meal in Chill in Gorey which served really good food and we had an excellent breakfast in Woodlands House the next morning. The bedrooms are beautiful, staff very welcoming and the sleep quality is... More

We stayed here recently as we were attending a wedding locally. Philomena was a pleasure to deal with and so helpful. The bedrooms are well appointed, en-suite with a great powerful shower, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Philomena dropped us to the wedding. When we came back from the wedding the electirc blanket was on in our bed,... More

Highly recommend this B and B, the staff and the service are great, clean facilities and a wonderful array of food served at breakfast with home made bread and scones.......delicious!! You would be silly not to stay here. Perfect for access to Gorey and surrounding areas, really easy to find off the motorway. Book it! :-)

We have stayed in this this guesthouse a few times. It has always been excellent. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is first class - with a wide-ranging choice and first class quality including the wonderful fresh fruit! All the rooms are beautifully decorated to the highest standard with outstanding furniture. The garden is beautiful and there are very... More

We booked this b and b as we were going to the nearby seafield hotel for a wedding. We arrived at the house and received a lovely welcome from the ever friendly philomena. After being shown to our room-which was only fabulous- we were invited into the sitting room for tea and scones. I've been eating scones for a long... More

This is the best B&B I have stayed in in Ireland. We were greeted with homemade scones and coffee, the room was charming, and we were made to feel exceptionally welcome by Philomena. It is a beautiful place to stay and I'd highly recommend it.
