Unbelievable value at this lovely spot, food was excellent - dinner and breakfast - and a nice comfortable room. Very peaceful place but not too far away from towns of interest. Dave and Mary are great hosts, will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Having moved from a B&B that wasnt up to scratch we rang this one at very short notice. There were 4 of us and we needed 2 rooms, lucky for us we got the last 2 remaining. We booked for 2 nights. The Hotel is very clean and the rooms were very light and airy but very warm and cosy,... More

Very Quaint Hotel in a peaceful and tranquil location. It is situated between the commeragh mountains near the famous mount melleray abbey. Lovely Log fire, great wine and company. Will Definitely be back A+++

Used this hotel for one night in avsingle room. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall feel of it. Nothing in the hotel was made "cheaply" . Real wood furniture in the room, decent bathroom, good breakfast, free tea and coffee. Location is harder to find as there are no signs along the major roads to navigate us. The owners... More

The hotel is located in a peaceful location in beautiful West Waterford. The on-site bar and restaurant are both quaint and cosy. The only negatives (minor faults) to our stay were that our room/en suite had no shampoo and no hairdryer. However, I now know to bring these the next time as I will definitely be staying again... and again!

Our 3 night stay was very relaxing and comfortable. Although the hotel is a little dated it has everything to make a very comfortable stay. It was quiet, warm with a radiator in our room (in late October), a great shower with plenty of hot water, clean rooms, beds and en-suite and staff that were very accomodating and welcoming. Considering... More

My two friends and I had not long arrived and one of my friend's locked my car keys into the boot of the car. I went mad. Unsure of what to do I went and explained to Dave to see if there was anything he could do. He spent time making a variety of phone calls and eventually got someone... More

The Pilgrim's Hotel is totally unique (in a good way!) It is set in a beautiful part of a beautiful county and the fresh air and views are something to behold. It is directly beside Mount Mellery Abbey also, which is lovely. The decor is from another era which really added to it...it had the feel of an 18th century... More
