Clonacody house is a hidden gem outside Fethard . Helen is a marvellous ,this house is a credit to her hard work and determination. Comfortable bedrooms with deep sunken baths.. Heaven. You need to experience the whole ambiance of this house. Breakfast are a feast. If you have a wedding or party the grounds are perfect.

It isn't often I rush to write a review of somewhere we've stayed but Helen is such a delightful and warm hostess, our night's rest was so comfortable and the breakfast so delicious that I felt compelled to. After driving 500kms around Ireland looking at horses in the cold and rain, my husband and I fetched up at Clonacody House.... More

We were put on to Helen by a friend who lives in Fethard. From the time we drove in we were all in love. This beautiful old house is run as a B&B and Helen has kept its charm and yet upgraded aspects that made a difference. The decor is lovely and Helen was such a wonderful hostess. Her breakfasts... This beautiful Georgian house tucked away in the country side was such a wonderful find. We experienced the height of Irish hospitality here from Helen and Gina. We were treated like members of family for our short stay there. We had the run of the whole house and the grounds, and spent most of our time reading outside in the... More

We stayed for a girls night out in June. What a treat! We dined in the stunning dinning room on a fabulous meal cooked by Helen. The night followed in wonderful ambience and tranquil elegant surroundings. If I was getting married again, I would be booking this as my venue. I cannot recommend this highly enough and would encourage anyone... More

We could never have imagined what a magical experience one night in Clonacody House would be. Helen and Michael welcomed us in and went above and beyond what anyone could expect. They helped us connect with locals who helped us find the grave of my husband's great-great grandfather along with many other family members, which we could never have found... More

We only had one night here and I wish we had more. The room we had was right at the top of the house and was delightfully decorated. The views of the hills in the distance were amazing and there was a wonderful sense of being away from it all. Helen and Michael are marvellous hosts and serve a delicious... More
