Over all we were disappointed in the hotel. Room was small but basic, bathroom could do with a little TLC. Window did not close properly draft coming in cant imagine what it would be like in winter. Lots of little things could be done to make a huge difference. Dining and breakfast rooms have lovely view over the sea. Food... More

Very clean. Staff very nice. Especially the guy in the restaurant. Stayed in room 128. French doors open onto a large patio with fabulous views of donegal bay. Views from the restaurant are amazing. Very enjoyable stay. Didn't get using the spa or pool. Seaweed baths unavailable, pity.

Just back from 3 nights B&B and 1D in the Pier Head Hotel. We arrived early in bad weather but our room was ready on arrival. We were given room 101 with great views of the harbour and the sea beyond. The room is small but was very clean. We requested extra pillows and these were supplied immediately. We booked... More

We are just back after spending Two days and Two nights at this very friendly hotel. The experience for us from start to finish was fantastic. The staff here we felt do their job really well and add so much to your stay. The food in the bar and at breakfast was very good. The view from our room and from the... More

Stay here 14 July, checking in was easy, just ourselves, this is a small family run hotel, our room was stunning just been revamped, 2 patio doors open up on to the balcony, what the view looking in on to the Atlantic ocean, breathing taking views, and the sun was shining, nice bathroom and clean with tea making facility's, can't... Do not visit here with a toddler. The poor child will be bored stiff. It would be lovely if it was sunny and you could go to the beach. There isn't even a playground nearby. The pool isn't suitable for toddlers either, too deep. Fine for couples or if the weather was good.

We stayed here for three nights in June. The friendly staff took great care of us and were very helpful in our time of need! Helen in the leisure centre went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me at the swimming pool. Great holiday experience, Ann and John.

My husband and I called in here the other day for lunch. I asked for a chicken Sandwich I got one it was lovely but I think maybe if crisps and a little salad was added it would be much better. My husband got soup that was sooo hot but overall it was good and very clean

My hubby and I stayed here in early June. When we checked in we were given a double room but the bed was a small double. I asked if there was any possibility of getting a room with a king bed and we were moved without any problem. Breakfast was lovely each morning. Plenty of selection and the hot food... More

Mullaghmore is a beautiful location but the hotel was appalling , dirty carpets , mould in the shower and a filthy toilet brush. Then worst part was discovering splinters of glass on the bathroom floor which we asked to have cleaned. This was not carried out properly but fortunately the vacuum cleaner was left outside our bedroom door so I... More
