It bugs me to no end when a hotel advertises "free wifi" but neglects to tell you it is limited to the lobby and this is the major criticism I have of this property. Check in was nice, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly as she took Euro130 twin room B&B. The room was small and the hot water... More

I've never bothered to write a review of any hotel before but my recent stay at the Beach Hotel in Mullaghmore Harbour was worthy of the effort. I was up in the Sligo/Donegal area for the first time learning to surf and only had a vague idea that somehow Mullaghmore was associated with surfing. Anyway, I booked one night over... More

The Beach hotel in Mullaghmore has one of the most beautiful locations in Ireland. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is good. The closing of it for some years has taken its toll but the new owners have a major refurbishment program in train. Where it has become dated is that it takes 34 steps to get to a... More

A Hotel in a fantastic location looking out over Donegal Bay and Benbulben. The harbour is right in the village with a super beach right beside it. Budoran is a short drive away which has another superb beach. There are a number of top class golf courses in the region. Food was good and staff very friendly. Rooms need some... More

My family ate lunch at the Beach Hotel on a sunny Wednesday afternoon. Because it was sunny, the place was reasonably busy. The hotel is situated perfectly looking out over the harbour. Most people were drinking and not eating. Now I know why. The price for a meal ranged between 14€-25€. There was no chips or veg that came with... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in mullaghmore - the friendly staff and the lovely food made our trip a memorable one. The room was basic but clean with a very comfortable bed. The view from our bedroom window of the picturesque harbour is splendid. There was lots of hot water the bathroom is dated but spotless. The views while sitting... More

I booked this hotel for me and my girlfriend. It was probably the best thing I've done in a while! We both had a great time and this down to the most friendly polite staff I have witnessed in a hotel. There was never any trouble when asking for something. The room it's self is what you would expect. Clean... More
