Don't come here expecting bars around the corner, shopping malls and bingo halls just up the road. They're not. Come here expecting peace and quiet and a place the to unwind. Come here to watch authentic Irish rain out the window or the cracking Atlantic views with the Donegal mountains in the distance. Behind you also have the stunning flat... More

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of the Fleadh Cheoil and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Maureen. The sea is just a short hop down a lane and we spent a couple of afternoons prowling the shoreline. I'm an early riser and Maureen spoiled me by bringing a cup of coffee to me while I read in... Having used Booking.com to make our reservations, we were very happy to have landed this one. The room was cozy and clean but the view of the ocean was worth it's weight in gold. Along with that there were two friendly horses to "Horse" around with.

This place, the surroundings, Maureen' highest quality hospitality and quietness gave us the unforgettable experience of a one-night stay in the Mount Edward Lodge. We had the most comfortable sleep ever. As a the sea lover I liked the idea of a shell-shaped sink in the bedroom 2. All the best from Izabela.

This is a unique, quiet, secluded home. It is clean, comfortable and homey. Maureen is welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The views from all rooms are awesome and picturesque. It was the Yates brothers boyhood playground area!!! The bathroom and shower was small.

We stayed at 14 different places while traveling through Ireland and Mount Edward was the cleanest place we stayed. It could have been the cleanest place we EVER stayed ANYWHERE. Everything sparkled. The beautiful flowers and lawn add to the charm. Maureen was a terrific host and prepared a wonderful breakfast served in a cozy sunroom. The B&B is a... More

Only stayed the one night but welcoming hospitality. Friendly helpful host Maureen. I've stayed at many places and this has been the only one where I felt it was home from home. Fresh smelling laundry and bedding.wonderful breakfast with beautiful view. Is a car ride from most things but small price to pay.

I stayed here on 14 August and was charged £106 for a £60 dated room with NO ensuite. I had to revise my plans at the last minute and booked this B&B when the Sligo Fleadh was on. I was frankly amazed at this blatant exploitation. I love Ireland and had an amazing time, and stayed in amazing places, but... More
