We have been staying at the Residents Hotel for years on short breaks and love it. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds, very spacious. The meals are good and well priced. Although a 25 minute drive to the city there is good public transport and in a good location. We look... More

We had a good stay at the Resident's Hotel. Check-in wasnt exactly easy, and we didnt get the rooms we had asked for. one couple got a fantastic double room, one friend on her own got a double room, and was moved to a single the next night with no prior warning, and myself and boyfriend got a room with... Pleasant enough budget hotel with free parking in the centre of Ashbourne. Sadly I had to Change from recently refurbished room 20 due to the industrial sized extractor bolted to the wall outside from the Chinese restauraunt below vibrating the whole room. Not just noisy but vibrating!!!! I didn't notice it until I switched off thevTV and settled down to... More

My large family and I stayed in The Residents Hotel for two nights at the end of February, and we have been raving about our stay to all of our family and friends since we returned to Cork! The hotel is located in an excellent spot in Ashbourne town, with ample parking at the back. We were warmly welcomed by... More

Stayed here for one night & it was awful! The room looked so tired and really shabby. We had food in the bar which wasn't great and a couple of drinks. When we went back to our room after drinks we realised it was right above the nightclub, no sleep for us. Breakfast was tasteless and disappointing. Stay elsewhere.

No bin or soap in the disabled toilet and changing room - unforgivable. And not just an oversight - it has been repeatedly the case. Believe it or not, people with disabilities like to wash their hands too!
