I stayed in this Hotel in December & i cant fault it in any way, from the food to the staff everything was lovely. Nightly music on Saturdays & Sunday nights. Its only 15 mins drive from Longford or Carrick on Shannon which was great for shopping. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Breakfast was lovely on both mornings. We will... more

Decided to get away for along weekend with husband and our two small children. Sometimes this can mean no rest for mum and dad but on this occasion I have to say that this was not the case. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Family room was fantastic and loads of room which in the past in other... more

Food and staff were good but that qualifies Flynn's as a good pub or restaurant not a hotel. The rooms let Flynn's down with a bang, windows that dont open, windows that dont close, curtains falling down, 2 pin power points, shabby, pokey...I could go on. This hotel struggles to be a 2 star. Would recommend for food but not... more

My self and my boyfriend stayed in the hotel for two nights in May while we were attending a wedding in a near by hotel. The staff when we were checking in were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. We also had an evening meal on the second night and it was lovely and again the staff serving us... more

The first thing that came to mind when we seen our room was that we had been ripped off by paying too much for such a basic room that definatly had seen better days. some of the lights would not switch off and the shower was in the bath with a curtain that let water all over the floor. we... more

I stayed at Flynn's Shannon Key West and had a wonderful experience. They entire staff treated me like I was a local and even invited me to a boat ride on the Shannon. The word "No" is not in their vocabulary. Food was amazing and the entertainment on the weekends is unforgetable. I even got to play Texas Holdem on... more

Very very basic Hotel, like a B & B almost. Bedroom/bed was small and ensuite the same. Nothing fancy and very outdated decor. Shower had a shower curtain that was useless and the whole ensuite got flooded as a result. For a hotel that opened in 1999 it has aged rapidly. Food was quite ordinary, don't expect gourmet cuisine. Staff... more

We have just returned from two nights at the Shannon Key West Hotel, having been at a nearby wedding. Overall the hotel is an excellent base - great location, easy to find from Dublin airport. The rooms are a little tired - this isn't a destination boutique-style hotel - but they're clean and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was great -... more

Booked above hotel for a relaxing 2 night break with one dinner and spa treatments for hubby and myself. We booked online through www.ireland.ie to stay Sunday til Tuesday. Arrived and checked in - first room was nice, but TV not working. We were asked to wait in the bar while they checked it out. A girl came over and... more

Spent a week here whilst on business in the area, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Fantastic hospitality, great food and a good bar. The rooms are clean and a good size, if a little tired. Cant recommend this place highly enough. more
