The hotel however falls down big time on its customer service when it comes to dealing with complaints. The first night we were there my husband discovered the underside of the... more

We stayed in this hotel earlier this year on our way to Dublin and unfortunately there was a wedding being held in the hotel. We had to ask to change rooms due to the noise levels of the band. The receiptionist was very prompt in arranging another room at the front of the hotel. The following morning when we were... more

Very comfortable, modern room. Location didn't seem great but having a car, this wasn't a problem. Was looking forward to Damana toiletries as advertised on their website but alas they were not to be found. more

Excellent all round hotel. Quick check in with receptionist welcoming us to Portlaoise and giving us leaflets on the local kids activities. Room was spotless and extremely large (our room had double bed, single bed, travel cot, full desk, two rocking style chairs and a glass table with plenty of room to move around still). Bathroom 10 out of 10.... more

A newly refurbished hotel - rooms clean, spacious and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful - food excellent. Pool and fitness area and underground car park. We stayed here as we were going to a wedding in the Heritage Golf club, it was only 10 minutes drive away. more
