This is our third stay and there will be many more due to the ease and efficiency of the booking system. I had a small problem last year and the way the hotel dealt with and communicated with me was 1st class. The accommodation ,staff and service has no challengers as far as I and my family are concerned.

Stayed last weekend over the Easter Bank Holiday. Great time, friendly staff, lovely food and rooms perfectly clean. Kids loved the pool. Will definitely stay again. Thanks to all for making it a great weekend.

All nine of us enjoyed our overnight stay at the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise. We had interconnecting rooms which the children loved. The rooms were clean and spacious. We availed of the Family Fun Offer which was very good value for money. We had great fun in Roll and Bowl and the staff there are excellent. Dinner in Stir was lovely.... More

I use this hotel for business purposes on a regular basis, which includes overnight stays. Business facilities are basic but adequate and the staff are most helpful and accommodating. The location just off the motorway is a big plus and the hotel is always busy. Food in the bar/restaurant I find quite acceptable but predictable. A little more variety would... More

Very comfortable hotel with all of the amenities you require. Staff were welcoming, the room was spacious and clean, and the bar food was very tasty and well priced. What's not to like ! Will definitely return.

Booked a deal online for my family (2adults and 2 kids) wasn't expecting much. Very small hotel, not the greatest bar. No comfortable seating to relax in the evening and have a drink. Rooms were clean but very basic. Swimming pool was OK, kids pool was freezing had to hold my 6 month old baby in the bigger pool as... More

Another pleasant stay at the Maldron. We wanted to go to a Christening in Cork on Saturday and a football match in Derry on Sunday. How to fit them both in without overdoing the driving on either day? Simple - stay in the Maldron on Friday and Saturday.!
