I arrived in Ireland last July and Ann was our host. After that i had been to many places, stayed all over Ireland but haven't find such hospitality. The rooms are very comfortable. B&B is situated on main Dublin road just in front of Hospital. City centre is just 15 minutes walk. All food options are available within 10 minutes... More

I stayed at the County Lodge for a night last Sunday whilst over in Ireland on family business. Ann was a lovely host and very helpful with local information etc. Breakfast was also very tasty! Recommended!

My husband and I stated here the night before we left Ireland. It was great! They were so friendly and welcoming. There is a prison right down the road but still felt very safe and were not worried at all. The breakfast was amazing and just what we wanted as our last meal in Ireland. There is wifi all over... The BNB was everything we expected, clean, comfortable and affordable. The beds are comfortable. The only drawback was the location of the room we got, closest to the main road which meant a little road noise and a bit of noise from merrymaking fellow guests arriving in late from various functions. The breakfast was first class, plentiful and very tasty.... More

My Wife and I stayed in the Laois County Lodge for one Saturday night in July as a stopover after the Bruce Springsteen concert in Kilkenny. We were made to feel totally at home by Ann and her staff, the house is spotless and the breakfast was amazing. I love my food and yet I didn't eat again until we... More

Stayed here before going to the National Irish Horse Farm about 15 minutes away. As soon as we walked it, Anne welcomed us like long lost family. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were good with plenty of hot water. There are a couple if pubs within easy walking distance. We were traveling with a two year old, and he was also... More

I can not say enough great things about this B&B. The house was clean, spacious, child friendly & very comfortable. I was very impressed with the free wifi & the breakfast was excellent. The best selling point was the customer service from Anne & Maggs. I would definitely recommend this accommodation!

We have just spent two nights at Ann's B&B. What a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was delightful, everything freshly cooked and prepared. Far better than staying in a hotel.

I stayed here in July 2010 (despite what the date actually says!) whilst attending a Hurling match in the town. Laois County Lodge provided an enjoyable stay with excellent facilities. Anne, the host, was very nice.
