Beautiful location next to the river, arrived at night and had no idea how pretty it was! Breakfast was nice, the porridge was lovely! Comfortable beds and room, thanks great nights sleep even with the wind howling through the Windows, it was awful weather, not the hotels fault.

Hi Folks, Thanks for the positive review. And sorry about the weather. Still beyond our control, but we are working on that! Anyway Waterside goes into hibernation for the winter months as it is such an outdoor destination. So hope to see you back here when Spring is sprung. Brian More

More than a B&B. The guesthouse features a very good restaurant, with very large rooms overlooking the Barrow River. Take a walk along the towpath and enjoy the tranquility. The towns history is linked to the Abby and celebrates this with a series of stone monks each portraying a different craft. See how many you can find. Great walking, cycling,... More

Brilliant, thanks for that. Your review encapsulates loads of the goodies that makes waterside and Graiguenamanagh so special. Now just add in Trad music in Mick Doyles, a visit to Cushendale Woolen Mills and relaxing in a cosy bedroom overlooking the river and the vision is complete. And some nice photos there as well. Hope to see you again soon. More

The room was wonderful. Large, with separate toilet to shower-room, a double bed, two singles and a sofa - and not a bit crowded. Views over the river and to Brandon Hill. Breakfast was served - two courses, with lots of choice. Tapas for dinner. Rowing was well-organised and was fantastic.

Thanks very much for the nice words. Our Tapas menu went down really well this season. Already talking with the chef about what other surprises we can spring for Spring. Glad you enjoyed your stay. More

The hotel rates itself as a three star and that is what it is. The rating, however, does not reflect the excellent quality of the service. From the moment we walked in the door, staff could not do enough for us. They even washed and dried a load of clothes for us, delivering them to our room. The room was... More

We (a group of 10 rowers) spent a week at the Waterside Inn and were totally charmed with the owners, staff, location, the local rivers (Barrow, Nore and Suir Rivers) and even the weather they provided! Our rooms looked out onto the sleepy River Barrow - no cars! (the walls of the rooms are a bit thin, so watch what... More

We stayed there for three nights last week. We had a wonderful time. Brian, the owner is great & so is his wife Brigid. The breakfasts were great ~ The wine and beer selection were great ~ the beds were very comfortable. I am originally from Graiguenamanagh and it was great to go back "home" for a few days.

We were making a return visit because this is such a lovely place to stay. You waken to the sounds of ducks and fantastic views of the river and historic bridge and the delicious smells call you to breakfast. The rooms are cosy and beds comfortable. From this location there are a variety of attractions to visit and there is... More

We came across this delightful B&B by accident and are so glad we did. The room was comfortable, roomy and tastefully decorated. Very peaceful and relaxing. Shower was great. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The B&B overlooks the Barrow River and there are long peaceful walks along the riverside in either directions. Staff were friendly and helpful in giving... Stayed one night B&B, and ate in the restaurant on two evenings. The setting is beautiful, on the banks of the Barrow River on the edge of the lovely little country town of Graiguenamanagh. The building is quite old, with narrow stairwells and low lintels, and smaller than average rooms. However, it is well maintained and comfortable, with all mod... More
