Was attending a wedding in Celbridge, so just stumbled across this B&B by accident. It turned out to be one of the best stays I've had in a B&B ever. Libby, the owner, is such a genuinely warm & welcoming person, that the tone was set from the moment of arriving. The house has been lovingly restored with some beautiful... More

The Springfield Bed and Breakfast ist an extraordinaire place to stay. The house ist wonderful and the welcoming was very cordially. The rooms are romantic, absolutely clean and a little bit dreamy. The breakfast we had was very sumptuos and delicious. An absolutely recommendation!

Springfield House We were looking for a place of character near Celbridge or Maynooth within walking distance of a decent restaurant. We found it. On the main bus route from Dublin (Bus Eireann 120 or 123). Our experience was made perfect by the houses few imperfections. It is a fine house full of history, charm and personality made all the... Booked into the B&B as we were going to a wedding near by. The Manor house offers a fantastic stay. The rooms are amazing bring you back to years gone by. The family run the B&B and are very welcoming as this is their family home. Breakfast is an experience!! Wonderful cooked breakfast, followed by homemade pancakes and pastries. I... More

If you want old style country living then this is for you. Fantastic rooms, great food, excellent housekeeper who cant do more for you and the Great Danes! WoW I will be staying here for business travel from now on rather than a hotel and on a regular basis.

Excellent place to stay, warm and friendly ,and a great host in Libby. Try the pancakes for breakfast and the cinnamon rolls too. The guest house is full of old world charm with an open fire in the dining room and fine art adorning the walls Tony

We expected a regular B&B based on the price but this was much more--a stunning manor, each room with beautiful furniture, working fireplaces and decorated with interesting objects. The family who live there are very friendly and helpful--they drove us to a wedding nearby free of charge--and the breakfast was superb, a full fry in addition to pancakes and cinnamon... More

My boyfriend & I stayed here last week while we attended a wedding nearby and I'm not sure where I can begin with words that would do our stay justice. Libby welcomed our arrival with tea & coffee along with homemade biscuits, actually drove us 15 mins to attend the wedding reception so we did not have to get a... More

We stayed in this beautiful house for three nights with our three children. Libby couldn't have done enough for us during our stay, even looking after our children while attending a wedding (including our 4 week old baby!) The children were so comfortable with her and she was just brilliant to them. The pink room where we stayed was so... More

We had a lovely 1 night stay in this beautiful place. The entire house has a great deal of character and so does each of the rooms. The breakfast is to die for with freshly baked cinnamon rolls and vegan (and still delicious) blueberry pancakes. Highly recommended!
