Breakfast is pre-ordered on arrival and a pot of tea and coffee are provided in the conservatory for a pre-breakfast drink. The rooms have names I stopped in... More

A lovely stay in a very comfortable house. Very quirky. Home from home. Can't tell you anything about nearby attractions or restaurants because after a long flight we tried out the amazing bed and slept for 12 hours! The breakfast was more than just a meal - it was a memorable occasion with the entertainment of the hostess. Priceless. No... More

An unusual and amazing place to stay. A resurrected manor house with wonderful period furniture and decorations. We stayed over the Christmas period and despite Ireland's plentifull rain this place was warm and cosy with a welcome to match. Plenty of choice at breakfast including traditional cooked, pancakes with maple syrup and cinnamon/fig buns. Very comfortable bed.

This bed and breakfast stands out for its warmth and hospitality. From the freshly made cinnamon buns on arrival with tea/coffee, the beautiful furniture and paintings. The full breakfast the fresh fig buns. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Libby. Tom and Betty Martin

I can not give enough stars for our stay. We were treated like family from the start. The house is kept in its original state and this is truly a trip back in time. The hospitality of our hostess is undescribable, heart and soul goes into her quests. It has been an experienced we will never forget in every possible... More

Quite simply this is a unique place to stay. The character of the building and the appropriateness of the period furniture made a wonderful first impression. The setting in parkland was fabulous, The genuine welcome of the owner, Olivia Sheehy and her family was terrific. We were offered complimentary tea, coffee and freshly made buns when we were checking in.... More

The one night we spent at the beautiful Springfield B & B was the very best of all our B&B stays over the many years that we have been travelling. Our hostess was charming, extremely hospitable not only to us, but even to our daughter and son in law who came to drop us off! They, too, had a taste... More

This was a wonderful B&B to stay at and would highly recommend it and stay there again. It is situated on 12 beautiful acres so it was very peaceful. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the food was great.
