A very special place to visit. Have been going for the past several years, can't miss this family when I go to Ireland. You will surely feel welcomed here, by Vince and or Mary, or by one of their 3 incredible sons. This is one of the top rated B&B's in all of Ireland. As others have noted, you will... More

As a Australian farmer talking to a Irish farmer with their way of farming it was a very memorable meeting. The B&B stay and breakfast was awsome and one we won't forget in a long time. On arrival we were made to feel very welcomed and to be served a lovely pot of tea and homemade scones with homemade jam was... More

I was there was a friend for the Electric Picnic weekend. We loved the place. Exactly what you want in an Irish B&B. Lovely warm and helpful family, a house with plenty of character (pictures of the family all over the place), breakfast was fantastic - one of the best I have had in any B&B in Ireland (e.g. fresh... Ballindrum farm is lovely and a very relaxing stay. A family of four with older kids (18,20) we were very tired from a long drive and a 24 hassle with lost luggage. We were met at the door with warm scones, fresh cream, and very friendly hosts. We felt so welcomed, and instantly loved Ballindrum Farm. The road to get... More

This is such a pretty location. Down a land by itself the views are great. The host was very nice fed us homemade scones. Our room was very nice, large and well warm. The bathroom good size just could do with frosted glass on the large window by the toilet. . . Breakfast very very good. It is also about... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time to review us and for you lovely descriptions. I understand you point about the window and we did consider it, but it would create an odd window at the front of the house. It has a blind and curtains for privacy. More

In two weeks of UK travel, this was our favorite B&B. The family that runs it could not have been nicer and the tea and scones on arrival were the best we ever had (fresh cream from the farm a huge plus). The room was brand new and girls loved walking around the farm, seeing the cows up close. The... More

Nice big room on a working farm. Nice view from the bedroom. One of us had stayed in 2008 so this was definitely worth a return visit. Her recommendation of Clanard Court Hotel/Bailey's Bar was a great one. Very good dinner. Very relaxing and comfortable stay.

It's all been said before, this is an excellent B&B, nice rural situation, but easy access to a good road system. Excellent breakfast and big thanks to Vincent for helping with the toll payment on Dublin's motorway - yes@ they deducted 3.10Eu from my Visa a/c - but better to be safe that sorry. Athy is a small town, some... More
