The farm location was so relaxing and located in an area that we could make day trips to many historical sites. A lovely double rainbow welcomed us after a drizzle. We had had a lot of rain at Glendalough so it was nice to return to the homey atmosphere of Ballindrum Farm. We watched a great movie that evening in... More

Recently stayed a night when touring the UK & Ireland by car. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. Our host was friendly and very helpful. Athy is a small town a 15 minute drive away and is good for an evening meal, supermarket etc. Dublin is less than one hours... More

Room was excellent and breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble and Vincent and Mary are fantastic hosts. B&b was fully booked whilst we we there and it was no wonder. You need a car especially to eat out at night. We were there for racing at Leopardstown and The Curragh and it was great for that. Recommendations from... More

Enjoyed a week staying at the lodge which is situated at the entrance road to the farm. All on one level and mobility friendly. Mary greeted us warmly with tea and homemade scones. We ate breakfast at the farm twice, both delicious. The lodge was ideal for 3 of us, one being my 90 year old mum. She loved it.... More

I stayed for 1 night after a wedding. The facilities were 5 star, the room and bathroom were both spotless and very comfortable, I really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the water that was provided in my room. Breakfast was a delight, the homemade scones in particular were delicious. Mary was so kind to us and made... More

After arriving very late to the B&B Mary was welcoming and even offered a cup of tea despite the time of night I arrived. The breakfast in the morning was gorgeous with a wide selection of food including homemade bread, scones and banana bread. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and included tea, coffee and biscuits. On the second morning of... More

Mary made us feel most welcome. She went out of her way to make us most comfortable; accommodating our dog, who had mistakenly not been booked in. Her breakfast was outstanding. Huge choice from both buffet and menu. All cooked fresh; including muffins, scones and banana bread. We were made to feel very much at home. We were impressed at... More

I arrived late at night and was warmly welcomed and offered a cup of tea. When I went to drink it I was surprised to find it served with scones and jam and cream. Breakfast is amazing, there is the buffet food including fruit salad and yoghurt, cereals, scones, freshly squeezed juice etc. but on top of this you can... More

When we reached it was late in the evening and Mary was out. Her son was so welcoming and went out of the way and gave us tea, juice and scones. We had a lovely time there and the breakfast was fab. We arrived late in the evening after heavy traffic and were met by Vincent and Mary with freshly baked scones and tea and coffee! What a joy! The place was perfect for us and our 2 boys, everything you could need for a lovely break. Thanks, we hope to return one day.
