We were not sceduled to stay at Vera's this year on our trip but a couple of mishaps involving hospitals made us check to see if there were any rooms available. Vera and her husband Bartley were very accommodating and we had two rooms for seven nights. It was nice to wake up and see Galway Bay and the Burren... More

The Ardmor is a very charming Bed and Breakfast in on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland. The couple who run it are very sweet and accommodating. The breakfasts have everything you might desire and meals are cooked to order, although there is always cereal, fruit, yogurt, granola, juices and a variety of breads available. The rooms are homey and comfortable.... More

We were only able to stay one night but would have been very happy to stay more. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the way parking is set up you don't have to lug suitcases up stairs regardless of which floor you are on; a big plus. Vera goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She is... More

This is a very nice accomodation. Vera has gone to great lengths to make her home very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Additionally, Vera is very knowlegable about the local scene (restaurants, places to explore, etc.). She was also very helpful in assisting us with reservations for places to stay for the remainder of our holiday. Great views from... More

We came by a recommendation and it was totally worth it; we were served the best breakfasts after a boring, greasy week [you would know - two sausages, black & white pudding, ham and half a grilled tomato anywhere else. we had a real salvation at Ardmor's.] , and special care was taken of us- it felt that way. nice... You can't find a more comfortable stay than this. The breakfast is excellent and Vera will accommodate and special requests. Both she and Bartley are very helpful and knowledgeable, and will go our of their way to make a phone call or help you with any request. The location is perfect as a base to explore Galway City to Connemara,... More

We have stayed with Vera this year and many times in the past. The B&B is beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous. We always check out her gardens to see what she is changing. The view from the bedrooms on the back of the home are of Galway Bay and very nice. The bedrooms are large and nicely decorated. The... More

This B&B was our favorite in all of our travels on the western shores of Ireland. Vera was the most accommodating and helpful host during our holiday visit. She made sure all our needs were met from the moment we walked in the front door. She shared travel tips which included the "best" places to shop and was very helpful... More

I've stayed with Vera and Bartley several times over the past few years. There is no way I would go to Ireland and not stay with them. They are two of the finest people you will ever meet no matter where you might go in the world. They will make sure everything regarding your stay is as perfect as humanly... More

Vera is such a warm & inviting person! She immediately made us feel at home, gave us wonderful recommendations to everything from traditional shows to directions (on a proper map!) to all the local sites. The homemade breakfast was perfect! loved the porridge (with baileys :)) and scones. The house was so beautiful and the gardens overlooking Galway Bay -... More
