Excellent B&B. Location to town center, parking, room size and facilities, breakfast all very good. Very nice lounge area. Tariff for a "solo biker" was also very good. Other place gauge single travelers with higher rates. Not here.

I'm very sad to be sitting here writing this review. About a week ago, I was finishing up my honeymoon in the amazing country of Ireland. My wife and I stayed our final night in Spiddal. Barbara and Tim were great hosts. I was ready to sit around and relax for the day and not do a thing but with... More

We booked three nights at Ard Aoibhinn for our visit in and around Galway and the Aran Islands. Barbara greeted us very kindly and was nothing but friendly and helpful for our entire stay. However, we were disappointed in our accommodations. The room itself was clean, but very small and cabin-like. The bathroom was the smallest we saw in our... More

Large clean rooms. Spacious bath. Shower worked well and has supplemental air heat. Sitting room has books galore with many on Ireland. Great chats in the bright breakfast area. Spacious parking. Nose out until you can see when exiting the driveway. Great value. Not directly on ocean but Spiddal is a short walk and has a protective cove and great... More

JUNE 2014. We spent 2 days at Ard Aoibhinn B&B. Barbara and Tim were very friendly and received us with a warm welcome including coffee and biscuits. B&B has a stunning view on the ocean. Very good location as starting point visiting Aran Isles and town Galway. Pubs and restaurants shops and Roman Catholic Church along with beaches nearby. Barbara... More

We were travelling as a family and needed two rooms. On first blush, the rooms looked great. The fixtures in the bathrooms were a little dated. The light over the sink in the room I had was intermittent, and you couldn't tell if it was on or off. Of course, it came on in the middle of the night, cause... More

We were here in early June, 2013 while exploring the Connemara and Galway City. Barbara was very friendly and helpful with maps, suggested routes, etc., and even let us check in early, which really helped. The breakfast (and sunny, spacious breakfast area) was lovely, and our two rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather that day wasn't great, and the next... More

Our family group of ten stayed for a week at this B & B in Spiddal. We had the whole place to ourselves (6 bedrooms). Barbara and Tim Curran made us feel so welcome, and extended themselves in many ways. For example, Barbara made a special trip to Bearna to get a wonderful birthday cake for Jim. They welcomed our... Bedroom TV didn't work - no channels available. Cold damp uninviting room. Towels weren't the freshest. No bath - only a shower with a shower curtain. Avocado 1970s bathroom suite. Toilet seat not fitted properly. Wonky light in bathroom and above bathroom sink. No shades on bedside lamps which were too bright. Allocated a room facing onto the noisy main... More

We are working throughout the county and this b&b is a great location for planning your way from. Friendly owner and lovely breakfast. She was very helpful when she had no room and got me, the supervisor a place across the road.
