After a day out and about we pulled into An Crúiscín Lan restaurant for dinner. It's a friendly relaxed place, the food is good and the restaurant was busy enough with local people eating there. We went for the two courses and we were all pleased with the meal.

The room was very comfortable and quite big with a sea view and balcony. Did not eat dinner but the breakfast was good as was the coffee. The bar was quite pricey but saying that a bottle of the house wine was really good at a good price. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. Would stay... More

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to the West of Ireland - it is grand. We all had chowder, which was delicious with thick pieces of assorted fish and a not too rich base, it came with brown bread on the side. Two pints of Guinness were also served and went down very well.

We were staying in a thatch cottage near Spiddal and had breakfast at An Cruiscin Lan Hotel one morning. The young lady who served us was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated.

Me and my family spent one night in your hotel, and everything was fantastic. Brand new furniture, carpets, cleaning accommodation, and rich breakfast, very kind treatment from everybody. Many thanks for the hospitality and kindnesses.

Very recently I popped in for lunch with two friends and was very pleased at having done so. I opted for the sea food chowder, and my friends went for the beef burger and fish and chips respectively. The chowder was beautifully balanced and seasoned and more than enough to keep me going till supper time. Both my pals reported satisfaction... More

We were staying in Spiddle last week and we went here for an evening meal. We were able to park right outside, as we had our dog in the car which was perfect. The restaurant was lovely, plenty of space and we had a table that overlooked the sea. The menu was great, with plenty to choose from and a... More

Just back from a weekend stay in Spiddal - six families together visiting our daughters in the Gaeltacht in Carraroe. We all went out for our dinner to the Cruisin Lan - there were 24 of us in total 12 adults and 12 children. The food was good quality and was great value for money. Martin the restaurant manager and... More

Everytime I visit Galway I visit Spiddal and An Cruiscin Lan. I love Spiddal, it is the essence of what this part of Ireland is: wild natural beauty. Plenty of places to park near the sea shore and lovely walks usually result in a visit to The Cruiscin, first to visit the loo and then the restaurant/lounge bar. This is... More
