Ate dinner here, service was poor, the furniture was shabby as was the general appearance of the restaurant, the highchair was very dirty and stained, when half heartedly cleaned by the waitress, I had to redo it . We waited a long time for food, it was acceptable and certainly better than we expected given the surroundings. The view was... More

Recently visited here for lunch, service was really bad.. so slow even though it was not busy. The food was mediocre at best overcooked and bad presentation. We opted out of dessert just the get out of the place. The best thing was the view of the ocean from the back window. Disappointing overall.

Nice hotel, lovely people and great location. If you have elderly people ask for the rooms on the lower floors, but if you are on the upper floors the rooms have great views. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Great restaurant, food is good with a good selection and the staff were lovely.

We were on holidays in Spidddal and dined in An Cruiscin Lan one evening. The unopenedwine bottle was placed on the table. Nobody corked the wine or offered us to taste it. The food arrived at our table so quickly that we were taken aback. It would appear that the fish was already cooked. The vegetables appeared to be microwaved... More

We booked a double room at late notice for a busy Saturday night in July. Room was small but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi was working well but parking outside wasn't ideal given the pub crowds around so we chose a spot a bit further up. The cooked breakfast was nicely presented in the morning. Value for B... More

Good location in town and maybe a 15-20 minute drive to ferry in Rossavel for Innishmore. Had a good size room with a great bathroom, comfortable bed for 90 euro. Restaurant downstairs was right on the water with great views. Had delicious sweet potato/butternut squash soup with delicious goat cheese, pear, hazlenut salad, husband had fish chowder soup also delicious.... More

Granted we only stopped here because we were returning to Galway after the ferry ride back from Inis Mor Island and didn't want to wait or go into town centre of Galway to eat. If finding yourself in the same situation, this is an excellent choice. It's on the main highway in the quaint little town of Spiddal. This place... More

Very old furnishings, including the bed, bed linens and towels - no cold water available on the top floor - our room with a 'view' had a partial view of the ocean if one looked beyond an enormous metal contraption that blocked most of the window and made loud noise 24 hours/day - and we were charged for leaving our...
