Cashelmara Lodge is nestled in with several B and B's outside of the main town area of Galway,Ireland. the owners were more than courteous and helpful in assisting us in seeing the sights and sounds of this great city and area. meals were more than adequate, and service was friendly indeed. Nicely run, very clean, and only a short walking... more

We stayed for just one night on our way up the west coast of Ireland on the way to Mayo. Christina has a beautiful B&B in a convenient location in Salthill. The rooms were very clean and inviting. We felt welcome by Christina and her family, who provided us with warm conversation and helpful tips related to the surrounding attractions.... more

Christina and her husband were wonderful hosts. Their B&B is beautifully decorated and we had our best night's sleep in Ireland in the bed they provided! We had two rooms for two nights, a triple and a double. The bathrooms were well equipped, very clean and nice sized. The bedrooms were clean with beautiful wood furniture and nice views of... more

Went in October with three other friends. Hostess was very accommodating. Christina gave us much information for the area and suggestions on places to see. We had two rooms with balcony. Breakfast was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cashelmara Lodge. more

My husband and I have just returned from a 3night/4day stay in Salthill at Cashelmara Lodge. Like some of the other reviewers the owner was not there when we arrived but her son Shane knew which room we were to have and organised our breakfast menu for the following day. We went to see which were the best places to... more

What a wonderful experience!! The accommodation and excellence of the food were only overshadowed by the superb Hostess and her family. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and assistance with some of our luggage. After signing in and being shown to our in suite room we joined Christina Fahey, our hostess, for excellent instructions to some of the... more

When we arrived the first thing the lady told us was that she had forgotten we were coming - something a host should surely keep to themselves even if it is true! We were offered no warm welcome, or 'how was your journey?' type conversation, just 'what time do you want your breakfast', and a brusque reception. When we asked... more

We Visited from Los Altos California and had an excellent experience with the Bed and Breakfasts in Ireland. One of the best B&B's we visited was Cashelmara Lodge Salthill, Galway.
