We stayed at Lough Inagh while visiting our children in Connemara in June - took 5 days for a break together; and both of us have nothing but good things to say about it. Welcoming, friendly, food quality was excellent, and the variety was good even though we were eating in throughout, We had a lake view room - absolutely... more

Eight of us happened upon this Inn while driving to Clifden. We stopped for lunch and had the most amazing experience. We all want to come back and stay. The staff was so friendly, so welcoming, and so inviting. They gave us a tour of the Inn, showed us such amazing hospitality. I would recommend this Inn to anyone! The... more

August 2009, we booked a 2 night mid week stay, (B&B and one evening meal) for 3 adults in their triple room. One of our group was on holiday from S Africa and she loved it. The cosy hotel (more of a lodge than hotel) overlooks Lough Inagh and the Connemara Mountains and we had a super view from our... more

The rooms were large and the beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept on... and the hotel staff was courteous, funny, and knowledgeable. The class (for clueless Yanks) on 'How to make the perfect Irish Coffee' was wry, witty, delicious, and sinful. I wish I could recall the gentleman's name who did it... he deserves the credit for a... more

We loved the remote location and perfectly peaceful setting. We were worn out from the flight so this was the perfect first night stay. We found out that a part of the movie " Marley and Me" was filmed there and Jennifer Anniston even had lunch in the little pub. Just a little interesting fact. We had a enormous beautiful... more

We stayed here in July for one night and it is an excellent place for a quiet weekend away. The food and standard of accommodation is nothing less that one would expect and the location is great if you want to get away from it all. Highly recommended. more

I am a fairly demanding traveller and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality (reserved hospitality) of this hotel. The hosts are quite hospitable. For instance, we were arriving very late to the hotel and the kitchen was closed by then. However, we had a cup of tea and a hot meal kept for us on the arrival. You will have... more

Booked to stay here for a couple of evenings during a driving holiday around the North & West of the South (of Ireland). Totally impressive. A great combination of a small number of well maintained guestrooms & attentive staff. Almost an "Edwardian House Party" atmosphere in the evenings. (But no pressure to become involved) Only one niggle : The Breakfasts... more

I stayed in the Lough Inagh Lodge a few years ago and loved it. However, we booked it recently and fell foul of one of the tricks hotels like to play sometimes. We booked a superior room with a view of the lake. We confirmed that it was definitely available for the following night (we live in Galway anyway, so... more
