I stayed here on one of the Birdwatching Breaks organised by the Dolphin Hotel. I can highly recommend both the hotel and the Birdwatching Break. We were collected from the ferry by Pat from the hotel. Our room was modern, clean and very comfortable. It was on the first floor - facing the hostel next door and was very quiet... More

The Dolphin is everything you want on an island like Inishbofin. We stayed for 2 nights in August as 3 couples. We came to have a another beautiful and relaxing holiday but also to see Declan O Rourke who was playing in the hotel on our first night's stay. Pat from the hotel, who is mentioned numerous times here, met... More

Had a brilliant weekend here in May - Pat and staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. The food was lovely and service excellent. Beautiful area for walking and enjoying the outdoors - it's one of the few places the corncrake can be heard . We felt like we were old friends, although we hadn't been there... More

I dont usually write reviews but this place deserves one! A gang of lads went out to Inisboffin this weekend for a stag party. We stayed in the Dolphin Hotel. We were picked up by Pat in his minibus and brought to the hotel. It was fairly apparant early on that Pat was a character and a half but professional... More

Our trip to Inishbofin was magical and staying at the Dolphin Hotel was the icing on the cake. Fabulous room, with our own little deck with lovely views. Our host Pat picked us up from the boat and drove us the short distance to his hotel, gave us a great welcome. Dinner was excellent and served by our cheerful host.

What a wonderful weekend!! It started from the moment we spoke to the prop pat coyne. Pat cannot be more helpful, from picking us up at the ferry, giving us first class hospitality and service, a wonderful comfy room with great views, lovely kind and helpful staff, great great food, dropping our bags to the ferry, and not to forget... So glad you had a wonderful time at the Dolphin, and that you enjoyed our fantastic menu. Pat does try to go that extra mile to ensure our guests get the most from their stay. Inishbofin is indeed a magical island, friendly and unspoilt. We look forward to your return visit. More

We're just back after spending two wonderful days in "Bofin" and the Dolphin Hotel. This was a return trip to the Dolphin for us and it was as good as the first. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the Ferry - that doesn't matter anyway, as Pat is always there to give the lazy ones a lift or... More

What a wonderful memorable experience. We stayed here for two nights. The rooms were very comfortable. The restaurant is great and Pat is a legend. Not only did he pick us up from the ferry, he checked us in, showed us to our rooms, served us dinner and poured our pints. He was back in the morning to serve us... More
