Went to Carna to look for family roots. Lovely area, exactly my idea of Ireland. The staff was very friendly. The accomodations were excellent in the wheelchair accessible room and bathroom. The bedroom was a little small, but very roomy bath & shower for wheelchair. Delicious food in the dinning room. more

I visited this hotel over new year (2000/2001) and found the staff welcoming and accomodating. the food was excellent and the hotel is set in a wonderfully unspoilt part of Ireland a little off the classic route but within easy access of the main sites of Connemara.
