Stayed in a family room for 4 in the eves of the hotel. Room was clean and modern. Life takes a slower pace on the island as is evident, in a nice way, as you check in. Food provided in the hotel restaurant is somewhat plain and lacking in any local inspiration - but we didn't find anywhere better to... More

My girlfriend and I stayed there for two nights and it was fantastic. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless with all the mod cons and had a balcony with a super view of the harbour. The bar is immaculate with a delicious menu. We viewed the Island on bikes we rented that cost €10 each and... More

a great place to stay especially if travelling with children, within walking distance of the pier, Spar supermarket and Kilronan village. There is a beach just across the road (perfect for a stroll on the beach). Food was tasty. We had breakfast here two mornings and a dinner on one of the evenings. Would highly recommend

Hotel is situated out of village with splendid view of the sea. We ate there twice, tho I hasten to add it was not my choice second time round. I love crab claws, always have them on any menu. They were served fully in their shell, impossible t open and very messy. The cracker provided with them was weak and unable... More

We didn't stay but we did pop in for a bite to eat. After waiting for a table, which was fine,we waited around 40 mins for our food while people who arrived after us got served first. When the food finally came, my burger was over cooked and the bun/bread fell apart. I thought it was hard to ruin a burger... More

Where do I start in praise for this hotel; best start with the Manager Niall Madigan; Kieth and all the wonderful staff there. The occasion for our visit to the Island was for my son Ken's wedding to Julie last Saturday 2014. From the first contact with the hotel to book a reservation I knew I was on a winner... More

We stayed here for two nights, us being an Irish family and an American family both with young kids. First things first, the location is wonderful, amazing views and within walking distance to ferry and village. The staff were polite and friendly with Roisina on reception especially helpful, informative and kind including sharing her local historical knowledge with the kids.... More

Stayed here only one night, a lively Friday night with great music and dancing. Had a nice room with an open balcony that looked over the front of the hotel. The marquee on the night with the music was buzzing. Ate in the bar that evening, sea food chowder, it was really good and big for the price and nice... More

I recently stayed here on a hen night. We couldn't have asked for better service. We were picked up at the pier and brought up to the hotel where lunch was waiting for us. We ate dinner that night in the hotel and the food was great. We were then dropped down to the pub and collected again when we... More
