What a wonderful introduction to island life we received as guests of Maura and Joe. They made sure we had everything we needed from wonderful meals to bike rentals. The grounds were beautiful with gardens bursting with color surrounded by welcoming sitting areas to enjoy the breathtaking views of the water. You will feel like you are stepping into the... More

I'm so glad that we stayed with Joe and Maura. Although Inishmore is a small island it still gets quite busy in the main town/ferry dock area. Man of Aran is located away from all of this but still very close to the main attraction on the island. There is also a beautiful beach located a very short walk away.... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. First of all if you are looking for a city with many pubs then do not come to this island! This whole island is quiet. It was a wonderful getaway from the real world. Joe and Maura were both great hosts. We were greeted with tea and coffee. Maura also gave... More

It seemed that our hosts were just tolerating us. During our 36 days in Ireland we stayed in 33 B&Bs. This would have ranked about 5 from the bottom. Standard fare breakfast. Minimal interaction about the island and it's attractions. Beautiful setting but the upkeep was below par. Maybe because we were there just prior to the main tourist season?... More

We spent 2 nights/3 days on Inis Mor and stayed at Man of Aran Cottage. It was by far the most memorable part of our trip. We weren't sure what to expect, but Maura and Joe are amazing hosts. The cottage is quaint and located in a perfect spot with amazing views of Galway Bay. Even though it was relatively... More

Our family spent a week on the Emerald Isle this summer in late June/early July and this was one of the highlights of our trip. Joe and Maura were both excellent hosts by making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door. Maura's meals were excellent as she prepared meals with ingredients from Joe's garden.... More

Hands down our most memorable experience during our 2 week, 4 B&B Ireland trip. Joe and Maura are so welcoming in their unpretentious, off hand way....it is like visiting your great aunt and uncle. Maura's meals are wonderful...salads from Joe's gardens, and menus she creates earlier in the day at her corner desk in the dining room....Maura's energy and Joe's... More

I chose this B&B based on reviews from TripAdvisor, and the "cottage" look of the place. We were not disappointed. If you're looking for a luxurious 5-star hotel room with A\C, widescreen TV and the typical "hotel" feel, don't go here. However, if you're looking for an extraordinary location (right by the water) with a cozy room and the BEST... More

A slice of heaven. Joe and Maura are great hosts atop this hillside B&B with a 360 degree sea view! Our personable hosts went out of their way to help retrieve our luggage from the airport after being lost for 3 days! In the meantime, they took great care of us; loaning a bathing suit and towels for an unusual... More

This is a very special spot with great views and a silence that lets you hear the spirit of the island. Unlike any other place we stayed, it was comfortable and peaceful. A short walk to the beach, a wonderful cat to pet! Innesmore is not about nightclubs and pubs, it's about quiet reflection of bygone days and island history.... More
