I stayed here recently with my boyfriend to meet up with a friend who was over visiting from England and was also staying here.We had a smoking room as my boyfriend smokes which he was really pleased with. The bed was massive and very comfortable. The room was clean with all amenities but it got 4 stars in rating from me... More

Reception was polite and efficient and check in and out were done quickly with no fuss. We were booked into the 4th floor facing what looks like social housing which you felt over looked from hence we kept curtains shut. The room generally was OK but the carpet was quite badly marked and stained. The bed was fine and the... More

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions, usually for work, but this time for pleasure. The hotel itself is pleasant to look at from outside, and is very conveniently located for the Luas stop (3 min walk). However, be aware that the trip to Abbey Street (city centre) is > 40 minutes - it does not well provide... More

First time in the Maldron hotel Tallaght and it was a very pleasant experience. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and room was clean and spacious. We even had a full size balcony/deck off the 5th floor. The Maldron is only a 5 minute walk to the luas stop so very convenient for getting to and from the... More

Stayed here recently with my partner booked through booking.com On arrival after travelling for 13 hours had nothing but problems checking in. Stayed here for 3 nights, while after reading mixed reviews kept an open mind as I do. On arrival about 11am the rooms weren't ready yet, however Pauline at reception stowed my case without issue. (I recognised Pauline from the last time I visited Dublin in 2009 at a different hotel). On return to hotel I checked in without fuss,... More

I stay here quite often due to work commitments- my employer pays. Every week there is a problem, aerial broken, tv broken, shower broken, room not ready, dividing door to the next room being left unlocked meaning a complete stranger could get into my room from the adjoining room. The rooms are always really warm and the very unhelpful front... More

lovely big clean hotel and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are of good size for a couple and a balcony overlooking the football stadium was an added bonus. Be aware though the room was very very warm and uncomfortable especially when trying to sleep at night. We asked for a fan and reception got one brought to... More
