Due to our house being renovated we chose a hotel that was close to my place of work to stay for one night. We opted for a suite at €109 for the night, which is the same price as the Louis Fitzgerald located not far away. The difference was enormous, the Maldron is the Ryanair of hotels, no mini bar,... more

I stayed at this hotel with my partner for a weekend. The hotel is very nice and modern and the rooms were nice and clean. Our room had a massive balcony. Breakfast was also nice. The location lets the hotel down. It is about a 25 minute drive from the city centre of Dublin. We got a taxi from the... more

I was so disappointed with my week stay at the hotel this time (I had previously stayed there in February 2009). The hotel was so noisy in the middle of the night on multiple nights. I did not make a complaint at the time but I couldn't believe all the people coming and going - making noise and nobody stopping... more

Stayed at this hotel before, but on this occasion the room I got had the wardrope door missing, the base was missing from the table lamp and the table was all scored. The heating did not work. service in the bar was terrible, waited 3/4 hour for my meal which they had forgot. The rest of the hotel is beautiful... more

Thr hotel was well priced and clean. The staff was nice but don't expect 5 star treatment. Hotel bar/restaurant should be skipped. I would stay again for the right price. About 45 Minutes out of town. Area is safe but boring. more

Stayed here for long weekend, as we went to a concert in Dublin so wanted somewhere cheap and comfprtable. This was better than we thought! The hotel is immaculate and we had huge balcony with lovely view. Useful to have shopping centre close by, with the Luas there too! Yje staff were not over friendly, but we found this to... more

Having previously visited Dublin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we decided it would be an ideal spring getaway, and found the very competitive Maldron hotel to be right up our street for a two night break. The hotel is superby located just a stroll from fast and cheap tram service to Dublin and some nice bars and restaurants. Guests have... more

I booked a surprise trip for my 24 yr old daughter who had always wanted to visit Dublin. 25 minute car journey from the airport, near the Dublin mountains, on the south side of the city. Great value, clean, large room with a balcony, friendly and helpful staff. Also a secure underground carpark and lovely swimming pool. We didn't have... more

Maldron Hotel Tallaght is perfect for staying outside of the City. The Luas is nearby so Dublin City is only a short distance away. Rooms were lovely, spacious comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Loads of nice places to eat nearby and the square shopping centre is a few minutes walk away. more

My partner & I are originally from Tallaght, but we live in Wicklow now. From time to time, family parties, social events etc crop up and we travel to Tallaght to attend. Because my partner and I both like a drink and don't drink and drive, we often stay in a hotel for the night. We have stayed in practically... more
