We stayed late May 2015. Mary was very accommodating to our early morning departure needs to catch a flight. She made us breakfast items much earlier than she probably had to. She didn't have the most outgoing of dispositions, but she was pleasant. We weren't sure if it was the inconvenience that I'm sure we were or just her personality.... More

We stayed here for our final 2 nights with our group of 9. Lovely old farmhouse and Mary was quiet accommodating to all of us. Close proximity to Dublin for a day trip. and just around the corner from our favourite Pub - Man o' War. Sure the wifi was not that great but you have to take into consideration... More

Our family of 8 stayed here on a last night before leaving Ireland as it is very convenient to the Dublin airport. We wish we had stayed longer as the attractions in the area deserve it. Great farmhouse and the fresh eggs for breakfast are a big plus. Mary was a delightful and accommodating host for our large family who... More

Nice place, Joe and Mary were very nice. The food was very good. We just love the Skerries area, that is why we stayed here. Very close to the train that we take to Dublin. I really felt bad for Mary, She just has so much to do, and with Joe's health, I know it has to be tough. My... More

THE PROS (sort of): This place is run by two people who seem like good, honest people. They aren't particularly friendly- they are a little reserved, and they seem indifferent to having us here. There are two very nice cats, and nice gardens outside. Decent food at breakfast- eggs and bacon are good. The beds are comfortable and clean. THE... More

I have just come home from staying here for 5 nights and it is wonderful. It is so peaceful and it's away from the City. Mary and Joe are wonderful hosts they make you feel very welcome. The room was really comfortable and clean. The breakfast was all freshly cooked and there was plenty of variety. I found it to... More

It's near the airport, which is a plus. It's also in the middle of nowhere, which makes it fun for exploration. The town was great, and the farmhouse is literally a two minute drive from a beautiful castle that overlooks the sea. The castle is a must visit if you're staying in Skerries. It was hard to find the farmhouse... More

Pros: --very nice host family. --very helpful family. --close to airport --nice farmhouse experience --nice shower and bathroom. Very clean. --Very welcoming for children. Cons: --weak wifi signal in bedrooms. You have to go into the common areas for... More

My daughter and I booked this place because it was closet to the airport, but it was difficult to find at first. Once you know where you're going, it's pretty easy to get around and Skerries is a beautiful place we wouldn't have known about had it not been for this B&B. We were also lucky because our room was... More

This is the first place we book after purchasing our flights to/ from Dublin. Very convenient to the Dublin Airport. But beyond that, Mary and Joe are a perfect example of Irish hospitality. During our first stay in 2013 (we stayed 4 times during the year), Joe made sure we knew about nearby Ardgillan Castle and the fabulous playground for... More
