What a pleasant surprise! We wanted to stay for a night and ended up staying for 5 nights! Friendly, cosy, easily accessible and catered to all our needs. No worries...Thanks to our hosts Astrid and Wayne.

Looking for a great little place to stay over in Dublin, Moat lodge is a quaint little place with well presented rooms and a great breakfast just outside of Dublin, Lucan has great restaurants within walking distance of the lodge.

Lovely accommodation close to town. Room was modern and clean/comfortable. Good parking excellent breakfast and wifi connection. This was the type of place I would take the wife. The landlady was helpful and friendly.

I stayed here for about 8 nights over 3 weeks during the week as I was waiting to move into a new house. I really enjoyed my stay and the guesthouse was warm and comfortable and really clean. The hosts were really nice and accommodating. There was nice extras like a lovely garden and a common room with tv, books... More

I stayed here two nights. The hosts were charming and helpful. My room was clean, if rather small though there was a good guest lounge with a nice garden outside which would have been very pleasant except that I only saw it at night time. Despite being on the road, there was little noise as my room had good double... More

Stayed here 1 night (21/9/13) with husband. Room was compact but well appointed and had everything we needed. Arrived before 2.00 p.m. but were able to check in & leave luggage so that was great. Weather was very warm and the room was quite hot at night but in fairness the heat wasn't on so not a lot that can... More

I had written more but it disappeared! This is a great option for the Dublin traveller. Friendly owners great food nearby and easy city access. We were staying in Dublin for the last day of our Ireland adventures and couldn't find a room due to a soccer match and a hurling match the same weekend. I think we lucked in... More

Four of us stayed, in 2 rooms, whilst on a 5 day golf break. We found the location and accommodation first class and would certainly go back again. Everything was within easy reach (golf and pub wise) and the breakfasts were absolutely spot on !! Also great to have free Wi Fi to allow us to keep up to date... More

Our room was soo small. There was a fold up luggage rack, but if you opened it there was nowhere to put it! Choices were to block the entry door or block the bathroom door. bathroom was a decent size and fully functional. The advertised Wifi was a nightmare. When my husband reported it was not working he was told... More

We had a really nice week at Moat Lodge B&B! The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good and the owners very friendly and helpful. Good location as well with a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars. We will absolutely stay here next time we're golfing in Dublin!
