A one night stay for a conference just down the road. Although I have been to this hotel many times this is the first time I have stayed there. My previous visits were always for informal meetings as they have free Wi-Fi, a decent coffee shop/sandwich bar and a large underground car park. Everything is 'functional' with the added bonus... Came over for a Christening. Booked double room for my 4 and a half year old & myself for 4 nights. We were given a family room for same price. Reception staff very helpful & informative & rooms clean & crisp white bed linen. Couldn't find anything to fault. Only booked room but you are to eat in restaurant if... More

We had to fly very quickly for a funeral in Dublin. Looked at website but no rooms. Rang hotel direct and secured two single rooms, which turned out to be doubles at no extra charge. Breakfast was excellent and staff brilliant.

Stayed during a short visit to Dublin. Jumped on blue bus from airport and took me straight to the door. Quick checkin. Had room on top floor. Very clean and did not hear a single noise. Breakfast brilliant. Staff lovely and polite. Very efficient. Are all Irish hotels like this ?

We stayed for a long weekend in a family room to watch a sports event in Dun Laghoaire. Easy to get to and from the hotel and the room was comfortable and quiet. We also had a nice lunch at the bar - plenty of choice of sandwiches and salads. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our choice to stay at Bewley's turned out to be great for us. Using our own car to travel from Holland we were perfectly situated to drive through the Dublin Mountains/Wicklow etc. While at the same time we were able to leave our car in the underground carpar (prarking fee) and use the Luas(tram, just 2/300 hunderd metres from the hotel)... Two nights stay and I was a bit surprised about the overall condition of the hotel room. Lobby is nicely done, reception staff is kind - rooms, well - average and could be in a better condition. Sleeping comfort is ok but the bathroom could use an overhaul and the room could use a fresh paint. So if you search... More

Very clean, good price, good location for our stay, nice breakfast - however dated decor, smell of smoke, remote for tv did not work, two single beds pushed together for bed..very annoying due to different heights and dip at joining, no shower caps or soap. All in one shampoo/body wash not ideal. No music in bar on a Saturday night

Rapid check-in and a decent room - no prizes for style or decor, very much an old school hotel with carpeted floors, traditional bathrooms (which I like in preference to shower-only bathrooms) and a nice traditional bar. I ate in the bar and had a good steak for a reasonable price. I slept well (helped by the steak and a... More
