Had a special family meal here without making a booking. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food was good and arrived without much of a wait, even though they were very busy. Large outdoor area with a small garden. Lovely to walk along the canal after the meal.

We were picking up relatives early sat morning from Dublin airport & decided to come up night before. This seemed a good spot since close to Blanchardstown & to M50 for airport. It suited our needs. Small hotel but quant. Bar was nice & had a good buzz about it. Rooms were adequate - the only thing being could get... More

My family have eaten in the twelfth lock bar many times and have been very pleased with the food and ambiance. However we brought friends that were visiting from Mayo last thursday night. They had their 13 year old son with them and after our meal was finished we were asked to vacate the premises because we had a "... More

We stayed here recently after a long day shopping. I booked it primarily for the restaurant as I heard great things about it in the past. The atmosphere and staff were great. We decided to eat at 6pm and I'm glad we did as the tables were starting to fill up. I enjoyed the food - tasty above average bar... More

I was worried at first having read previous negative reviews about the noise.Maybe we were lucky with our room but the noise of the trains did not disturb us. First the negatives: noisy plumbing from time to time. as rooms are on ground floor they can be a bit dingy . bedside lights would have been useful bathroom door didn't... More

My Mum and I stayed here for 2 nights when I took her on her first ever flight. She chose Dublin. We wanted to stay a little outside Dublin, to have a bit of peace & quiet. The staff are really pleasant and want to help you whenever needed. The rooms are basic and a bit dark and, as others... More

We stayed here for 3 nights over St Patrick's weekend. The hotel is a little difficult to find, but it is worth it when you get there. The rooms were pretty spacious, clean andtastefully decorated. They came with all the trimmings, safety deposit box, minibar, toiletries etc. The beds were really comfy, but the pillows left a little to be... More

Don't stay here if you want to sleep. The noise from the bar directly over the room we were in went on until the early hours (3am on saturday night). There was continual noise from outside the room, loud voices, footsteps and doors banging. Overall the whole room was very dated and the bathroom is in need of a complete... More
