Lovely hotel and the location is supberb overlooking the Sea. The restaurant was excellent serving locally caught seafood itn the "Michelin" style. Bedrooms were clean and very modern, with up to the minute ensuite bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. more

We booked one night at this hotel for a Valentine treat and wished we could have stayed a little longer. Our room was large and tastefully decoraded in a boudoir fashion (it was the honeymoon room). The bed was fabulously comfortable and the ensuite shower room clean and bright. We had dinner in the restaurant , a fixed price for... more

We stayed here for the weekend with friends and a more relaxing time I really do not remember. The staff could not be more helpful and were all friendly. The food was excellent both at breakfast and evening meal. The wine selection was good and not too expensive for a hotel of this standard. The location is quiet and perfect... more

Absolutely wonderful experience in every way. Beautiful surroundings - MUCH better to stay there than in the town of Killybegs which smells like fish from miles away! Beautiful property in a beautiful area - driving out to the point on St. John's Point is unforgettable, even with the roads so narrow it was a little scary at times. The room... more

A delightful three days were spent at Castle Murray. The hotel itself was totally relaxing - friendly staff, a comfortable room with superb views. The food (breakfast and evening meals) was really good. This was our first visit to the hotel and Donegal but we will return. The area is magnificent for both walking and driving. more

The food, staff, service, location....everything is perfect in Castle Murray. I've eaten there and stayed there several times and even had my wedding reception there this year and I can't wait to go back! There is a superb view of the sea so looking out onto the water is very romantic, come hail or shine. The food and service are... more

Having stayed here many times and eaten in the restuarant when staying in the area we have (my wife and I) always looked forward to a beautiful meal particularily fish and never ever been disappointed. The ambiance of the bar and dining area combined with tthe view, and if you are lucky a beautiful sunset, quality of service is second... more

This hotel sits amid fantastic sea and cliff/mountain views. Food at all meals was a delight ranging from the full Irish breakfast to the varied and substantial evening meals. The beds are very very comfortable-King Koils. Guiness was well kept, local walks tres bien and the bigger walks up Ben Bulben at the back of Bundoranand Slieve League beyond Killybegs... more

This is a great place to stay. The room I was in was 'rustic' and one of the beds was under the beams but it was large with a good view of the ruin and water. The bathroom was small, but adequate, with modern fittings and luxury complimentary toiletries. The restaurant is fabulous, because of its situation - huge windows... more

I was brought here by my wonderful girlfriend as a surprise 30th birthday treat....and what a treat it was! the unassuming exterior (it looks like a big guesthouse) belies a cosy, romantic interior with wonderful comfy couches along the huge front windows where one can sit and savour the sun setting over Donegal Bay, guinness or whiskey in hand! It's... more
