We brought friends and family for The New Year. We had stayed before and knew the exceptional all-round quality of the place but they were coming from England and were ecstatic about the whole experience. We have never experienced such attention to detail throughout. We will be back and we continue to recommend Castle Murray at every opportunity.

Stayed again at Castle Murray last Friday night 21/3/14. On such a bleak hailstone/snowy night. I considered to be too cold to stay in my caravan - any excuse to jump into lovely cosy bed in a warm cosy hotel. Staff so welcoming as always and nothing is too much bother. My 5* breakfast was greatly looked forward to and... More

Stayed December 2013. All aspects really worth a praiseworthy review. The food was excellent. I tend to rate food in central Belfast among the best available in the North but CMHH easily matched (and exceeded) this standard. Fish, duck, acompaniments and the superb little extras, cheese board and desserts were all outstanding. Bravo Chef. I have to give a specific... More

We stayed here for one night for dinner bed and breakfast whilst on a tour of Ireland - it is a wee bit out of the way if you look at a map but straightforward to find . A friend had recommended it highly and I am passing this recommendation on to others! The food is outstanding - beautifully cooked... More

My husband and I stayed here in April and more recently last Saturday night, 26th October. It was recommended by a friend, otherwise I don't think I would have come across it. We arrived after a long(ish) car trip and couldn't wait to throw our bag into the room and get seated at the window overlooking the bay with a... More

Was here on Tuesday evening with a large business group, so impressed with the stunning setting. Choice menu for our party - was lovely and the food we enjoyed was excellent. All in all one of those places I cannot wait to return to and experience more of your great food.

Recommended by a friend with local connections. We called in for a coffee after visiting St.Johns point. Great location with a comfortable lounge. Very friendly staff who persuaded us to have one of their homemade scones - well worth it ! Hope to return some day for a longer visit.

Once in a lifetime you come on a place like this by chance. It is set up on a hill on beautiful St John's peninsula, with breathtaking views of the sea and easy access to quiet sandy coves. The hotel is charmingly unpretentious and staff were very friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious and had a view of the sea.... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was excellent. It is situated out on St. John's point which means you have limited eating options and need a car to get there and around. The food is the key dinner is a 5 course menu that has plenty of choice and we enjoyed both evenings. In addition they have a... More
