We arrived very late but we still got a very warm reception from the night porter. The room was quite spacious. We found that there was some mould on the element of the kettle. This was replaced within 5 minutes of us reporting the problem, even though it was about 4 in the morning. We found the staff to be... More

My boyfriend and I went down the weekend after New Year. The staff were great and the food was the nicest I've ever tasted!!! We went to the spa during the day. We had to book in to use the thermal suite and pay €15. Unfortunately it wasn't included in the package. The spa was lovely but you couldn't spend... More

We stayed on a 99 euro deal with a two course meal. Staff very helpful and friendly and hotel is well situated on the main street. Almost opposite Mcelhinneys dept store. Try to get room on the new side. Our room just had shower no bath. Bed was a very small double. Very uncomfortable. Front bar was lovely with open... More

Had a lovely couple of days at the Villa Rose in Ballybofey. Lovely staff, hotel and food, would definitely recommend. Ballybofey has a lovely friendly atmosphere, you have McElhinneys department store for shopping and there are plenty of areas to explore for walking. Letterkenny is only a 20 min drive.

Arrived early. Lunch served from half twelve. Order taken twenty past twelve. Lunch arrived five to one. Absolutely cold. So back to kitchen and another ten mins Asked for cranberry sauce. Ten mins later went up and literally tried to find it. Not good enough. Not sure if I will be back. Don't think so.
