I was stewing some fruit this morning and realised I have been copying Mary's breakfasts ever since we stayed at the wonderful Kilmahon House in May! I stayed with my husband and parents in law who were visiting Ireland for the first time. From the moment we arrived we received a fantastic warm welcome from Mary and Jeremy.....followed by delicious... More

In the first place, starting, with the property itself an obvious work of love from the owners Mary and Jeremy, you are awed by the beauty of the grounds and the buildings themselves. The hosts will go out of their way to assure your comfort and that every need or desire is met. They are the most charming people in a... More

This house has given us the most enjoyable stay. The hospitality is unparalleled . The hosts Mary and Jeremy could not have been more knowledgable and generous with their advice. We would recommend it to anyone who loves beautiful houses and excellent food.

My friends and I were attending a wedding in near by Ballymaloe. I booked Kilmahon House over the phone through Mary, who was very helpful and later sent direction via email as we were travelling from Dublin. First impressions were brilliant. The grounds are beautiful and the house itself is gorgeous. Was greeted on arrival by Mary and brought up to... More

This is my 2nd 5 star review out of 15, and only wish I could give it 6 stars just to emphasize what superb hosts Mary and Jeremy are, their attention to detail and the warmth of their hospitality is truly exceptional. I could go on, but 58 5 star ratings in a row says it all. Normally at this... More

Just a wonderful stay. Friendly welcome and amazing cakes! Rooms that just ooze quality. Can not find fault in anyway. Great night's sleep and then waking up for the most amazing breakfast, so many home baked pastries, fresh juices and smoothies. If you are ever in this part of the world make sure you stay here!

We loved Mary and Jeremy - gracious and generous. Comfortable beds, amazing breakfast and beautiful house. We don't always say this, but we would love to return and would specifically search out this B&B

We stayed four nights during the Ballymaloe Lit/Food Fest last week. Mary and Jeremy made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was astonishing and all cooked and baked by Mary. At the mention of the word porridge, Mary produced the best bowl of porridge ever - with, of course, a jug of delicious Irish cream....... More

I stayed one night at the lovely Kilmahon House with Jeremy and Mary after a wedding in Ballymaloe. I arrived in a tizz with only 40 minutes to shower and change and Jeremy very kindly showed me to my room and drove me to the church in Ballycotton. Breakfast the next morning was amazing: fresh orange juice in a little... More

On arrrival we were served Coffee and cakes (x 4 types !) in the drawing room. Jeremy drove us to our Restaurant later (Pier 26 - fab)... More
