We really had a beautiful romantic and memorable experience at the Barleycove beach Hotel. We had a magnificent view of the golden sandy beach and west cork coastline from our bed, so we hardly had to leave the room except to eat ! I would highly recommend this Hotel for a cute romantic getaway. With just steps away from the... More

This is a great spot. Friendliness of the hotel is superb and scenery is breath taking. Accommodation is fine but needs a refresh. Food in restaurant top notch and wireless is now also available. Difficult not to overly recommend this location as a unique and choice place to stay

We have been vsiting this area of West Cork for some years now and whilst we have never stayed in the hotel we often go there for food and drinks. It has a fabulous location overlooking the beach ad when the sun is shining you couldn't get a nicer place to sit and relax. The staff are lovely and friendly... More

Stayed here for one and had a really good time. It's directly on the beach, with a little walkway from the hotel through the dunes onto the beach. Beautiful area, lovely room with gorgeous views. Good value, quiet, friendly staff and nice restaurant/bar.

We were holidaying in West Cork and visited Barleycove beach on a sunny day. We were delighted to find that the hotel restaurant was open and serving lunch. It turned out to be the last day of the season, before the hotel closed up shop until next Summer. We were so lucky - the lunch menu boasted a great selection... More

The hotel offers the best access to one of our most beautiful beaches. The food is grand, but when we visited (twice last week) we felt like the customer wasn't really important. They don't really seem to care. Both times there were things on the menu that weren't actually available, food was ok and service was ok... it was all... More

My wife, grandchildren and I visited this hotel on Monday July 28th as we were staying in one of the properties in proximity to the hotel. We arrived at the bar at 20.55 and I ordered some drinks so while I was waiting for the order to be served I asked could we see a menu, there are daily specials... More

Great service, good food and a lovely atmosphere. The best views in West cork to relax while enjoying a nice pint or some amazing food, prepared to your liking. Strongly recommend it for the perfect holiday destination
