The hotel offers the best access to one of our most beautiful beaches. The food is grand, but when we visited (twice last week) we felt like the customer wasn't really important. They don't really seem to care. Both times there were things on the menu that weren't actually available, food was ok and service was ok... it was all... More

We arrived at the bar at 20.55 and I ordered some drinks so while I was waiting for the order to be served I asked could we see a menu, there are daily specials... More

We stayed in House 22 in June with our two small kids. The house was perfect. Clean , well equipped, beautifully furnished with some lovely homely touches. We got a great deal and it was worth the journey. We ate in the hotel and had a smashing meal. Beach is a 2 minute trip down some steep steps. The beach... More

We stayed in one of the privately owned apartments attached to the hotel ( no. 14 booked thro. Dream Ireland) .and had a very laid back relaxing week. There was just the two of us but the apt comfortably sleeps 5--main bedroom comfortable double bed and en suite and the 2nd bedroom a single and 2 bunk beds. It was... More

This place is fine for a bite to eat but the restaurant is a little shabby. They could do so much with the place as the views are superb. Food was good and service cheerful. They could do so much more to attract more business from the nearby beach (if they wanted it!>?) and not sure they do to be... More

We arrived slightly late and tired to the hotel after a long drive and were greeted by the most beautiful views imaginable and the most laid back man on the planet. Absolutely perfect. The views are exceptional, the hotel is clean and the staff are so lovely. Friendly but not intrusive and nothing was a problem. Their attitude rubs off... More

Barleycove beach hotel is such a great boutique hotel. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere - this matches the location and overall surroundings. Literally on the beach, the views and scenery are breathtaking. Breakfast on the terrace looking out on the Atlantic Ocean was second to none - freshly cooked to order and just perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel... More
