I stayed at Ballyhannon Castle for my hen weekend. We had a large party so rented both the castle and coach house. It was an absolutely amazing experience. The castle itself is extremely well kept, while being true to its past. I love history and the idea of staying in a castle really appealed. While I had seen the photos... More

Two of my best friends were married at the castle, and I couldn't have been happier about where they choose to have the wedding. The grounds were beautiful and the accommodations were excellent. Clean and comfortable. I stayed in the carriage house with the friends and it was perfect for everyone. It was great having a kitchen and living quarters... More

Myself and my wife recently got married here and the castle will always have a special place in our hearts. I had stayed in the coachhouse the year before for another event so I had first-hand experience how beautiful the location is. The castle itself is stunning and beautifully furnished. It has all the mod-cons you could need without losing... More

The best decision we made was to hold our wedding here. It is beautiful and unique and our guests are still talking about it. The Castle is exquisitely furnished and is an experience of a lifetime, brimming with history. We had our ceremony of 55 guests more than comfortably in the downstairs reception room of the Castle by candlelight. Guests... More

Quite, quaint, tucked away gem of a place! Fabulous rooms, heating was good because rooms hold heat very well, easy to find, plesent views around the castle, walls very thick which made WiFi impossible but not gonna worry too much about that

I was the organiser of a hen party consisting of 14 girls. We stayed in the coach house for 2 nights. The place was picture perfect. Really clean, upstairs and down. The coach house sleeps 15 comfortably. There is 3 toilets and showers ( whilst the showers cannot be used at the same time this was not a huge issue).... More

I really can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay at Ballyhannon castle was, we had a truly excellent stay and we all were saddened when we had to leave our private keep. We had wanted to stay in a castle with a medieval feel and Ballyhannon is all that and extremely convenient to many wonderful day outings for sight... More

My Grandfather, Mother, Uncle and I traveled to Ireland to explore everything the country had to offer. Our experience would not have been complete without staying at Ballyhannon. We all agreed this was the highlight of our trip as well as one of the coolest experiences we have ever had. Ballyhannon is done so tastefully and comforting. You would never... More
