Friendly pub with pleasant accommodation in this lovely village. The food here is always excellent and it is a great location for walkers, as there are lots of great walks in the locality.Lovely view from the rooms overlooking the old abbey. Recommend it highly.

Right across the street from a beautiful old building, we ate there two nights in a row! The servers were very friendly, the environment was clean, and the food was DELICIOUS! If we were still in town, we'd go eat there tonight!

Great atmosphere and food, child friendly and reasonable prices. My grandchild was in a child seat with colouring book and pencils before I knew it. Can easily understand why this pub has won awards in the past.

We had lunch here after doing a morning walking tour of Quinn. A great place for a pint and a sandwich! Friendly atmosphere, good service and good food. Right across the street from the historic Quinn Abby.

Located in the village of Quin, a few miles east of Ennis the Abbey Tavern is a great place to go for Sunday lunch. It was busy when our group arrived so there was a wait before being seated. They have a a wide ranging menu and the specials board gives additional choice. The apple crumble was recommended and it... More

On a recent visit to Ireland, Himself and I made plans to attend the Knappogue Castle banquet, in Quin parish, Co. Clare. Having partaken in other such types of banquets, I knew the dangers of free flowing mead, and thus a close proximity B&B was in order. Our search lead us to nearby Abbey Tavern in Quin. The sign in... More

My B and B recommeded this place so thought I would try it out. It is such a cute place with great home-cooked food. The view of the abbey across the street is also not to be missed. The soup and bread is quite filling and the apple crumble was one of the best I've ever had.

We went here on recommendation as we were staying at The Dangan Lodge Cottages, cannot fault it, food is fantastic & very fairly priced. Free WiFi is a bonus as there was none available where we was staying, so that made my teenage daughter very happy. Staff very friendly, we called in one day just for a drink & found... More
