The BnB is a wonderful decorated and clean house. We were 4 and had no problem to have an extra bed in the room. The host gave us useful recomendations what to visit and where to eat. We enjoyed it! I would stay there again.

Lovely place, lovely people, lovely food, fine service and attention to special requests. But the perfect location was my favorite feature. A quarter mile in from the old Corofin station for the West Clare Railway. The fine old 1700's stone bridge over the River Fergus, your walking route into town and back; no problem even in the wee hours. The... More

The Corofin Country House is a pleasant and comfortable B&B. The hostess Mary Shannon is personable and seems to listen more (and talk less) than many folks. The Inn is located about 10 km northwest of Ennis at the edge of the small very nice little town of Corofin. Corofin is a good base for touring the region, but it... More

Just returned from two nights in Corofin to meet fellow bikers from England for the World Stone Throwing Championships and stayed at Mary's house for the duration. We were treated with great friendship and politeness, the room was perfect, clean, fresh with tea and coffee available, the bed was very comfortable. Peace and quiet with great views of the countryside.... More

We were on our way to the Cliffs of Moher on our Ireland road trip, when it was getting late and we pulled into Corfin Ireland. Looking for a place to stay, we stopped into Mac's, a great local pub. We asked if they knew of any place we could stay? We said we saw a big red house that... More

We stayed at the Corofin Country House 4th March for 4 days . We had a lovely room and a very comfortable bed with tea and coffee making . Mary and James were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble for them. As we didn't have a car they gave us lifts to the village and even to Ennis... More

I stayed there for Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th November. Lovely surroundings, very pleasant, very accommodating and friendly. Mary the Landlady was very pleasant, a nice easy going atmosphere and everything you could want.

We stayed in Mary and James's house for 3 nights in last August... It was wonderful! Our room, for three persons, was very nice and cozy -as the rest of this beautiful house-. The house is only ten minutes walk distant from the town and its surroundings, as the rest of County Clare, are astounding. We had a very pleasant... More

This B&B was booked for us through a walking tour company, so we didn't have choice as to selecting it initially. Now, writing the review and reading some of the other previous ones, we agree with the other terrible review and have some eerie similarities to share. We were led in by the owner's daughter at a reasonable check in... More

Beautiful house off the main road. Is within a 10 minute walk from town, but the narrow bridge to walk into town was scary so we drove instead. Beautifully furnished home and friendly owner. Lovely view of green fields and horses out the window. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Recommended!
