I stayed there for Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th November. Lovely surroundings, very pleasant, very accommodating and friendly. Mary the Landlady was very pleasant, a nice easy going atmosphere and everything you could want.

We stayed in Mary and James's house for 3 nights in last August... It was wonderful! Our room, for three persons, was very nice and cozy -as the rest of this beautiful house-. The house is only ten minutes walk distant from the town and its surroundings, as the rest of County Clare, are astounding. We had a very pleasant... More

This B&B was booked for us through a walking tour company, so we didn't have choice as to selecting it initially. Now, writing the review and reading some of the other previous ones, we agree with the other terrible review and have some eerie similarities to share. We were led in by the owner's daughter at a reasonable check in... More

Beautiful house off the main road. Is within a 10 minute walk from town, but the narrow bridge to walk into town was scary so we drove instead. Beautifully furnished home and friendly owner. Lovely view of green fields and horses out the window. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Recommended!

The nine of us arrived after a long day of site seeing and received a warm welcome from Mary & James the proprietors, we immediately felt relaxed and at home. The house was beautiful yet very comfortable, and the sun room we were served breakfast in was such a lovely treat! In fact the only thing more lovely then the... More

I stayed for a few weeks when working in the area and was always well looked after and very well fed. My room was spotlessly clean, warm, nicely furnished and had all the facilities I could possibly want. There was a nice en-suite bathroom with an excellent shower and endless hot water. Tv, wifi and tea/coffee making facilities were appreciated... More

We stayed here 4 nights. Family research holiday with local sightseeing trips. Mary and Jim were wonderful hosts and were able to point us in the right direction for contacts re. research. Their hospitable service and general helpfulness was much appreciated. Originally we had no hire car but quickly realised that the bus service to Ennis and back to Corofin... More

If you are on your way to Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, Lahinch, the Burren, Spanish Point, Miltown Malby, then, by all means, stay with Mary and James Shannon! Their home is about a mile outside of Corofin and about fifteen minutes from Ennis. It is also about 25 minutes from the Shannon Airport so you could stay in Corofin... More

We stayed here for one night, and it was a good stay. The home is surrounded by pasture with excellent views of the town of Corofin. It's on a quiet street, well within a 5- 10 minute walk across a single stone bridge to the town. The house itself is clean, welcome and inviting. The room has an "instant water... More

Comfortable, carefully decorated room. Not right in the town so peaceful and quiet. Close enough to walk to pubs for dinner. Very friendly hosts and lovely breakfasts.
