The camp-site is set in the center of town, which is good if you like going to the pubs but not so great if you like your sleep. I like to go camping to get away from the big smoke and unfortunately the main road that runs along by the site is very noisy. The grounds are not level in... More

My family (me,wife & 2 children!) are just back from 2 days camping and we really enjoyed ourselves. It is located in a very secluded location in the village within a 1 minute walk to pubs, restaurants and 2 supermarkets. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Marie provided great advise on facilities, walks and local attractions. Her husband was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in August. An absolute Gem of a site In the heart of Corofin. The only downside for us was that we have a twin axle van so couldn't fit on the pitches however the young man that met us on arrival was very accommodating and we pitched on the grassy area as you enter the... The villager of Corofin is full of interest with lovely walks down to the lake. The camp site is small and well run and with a pub just a short walk away for a drink and evening entertainment, the provision of a campers kitchen on the odd wet day is a boon. Running from the village information centre is a... More

This hostel provided a great place for my family and I as we made our way to explore the Burren, the coastal cliffs, and the like. Our hope had been to find a hostel in a small town where we could easily walk to a local pub for food, music, and good cheer and the Corofin Hostel came through (as... More

We were at this site twice last year and used it as a base again this year when we were lucky enough to be in Ireland for almost a month. We stayed at Corofin for our first week and our last. Mr and Mrs Neylon (the owners) are great! You will be given maps and information about the area and... More

Just back from a weekend in this campsite, and I was very impressed with the facilities on offer. There is plenty of space for tents, most of which were able to camp under a tree or by a hedge for shade (very helpful during the current heatwave!). The reputation of the site must have reached far and wide, as you... More

Thank you for your honest and detailed review. I am sorry that there was noise despite our generally well respected eleven o clock quiet time on site. Our location in the village centre is mostly an added attraction for our guests and means they do not have to drive after a night out. It was most unfair that your sleep... More

Small site but delightful. Hired a Motorhome to tour Ireland and the family couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Extended our stay as the location was so great. Pubs across the road in walking distance and that was an experience! All in all we couldn't recommend it highly enough. So much to see in the area too. The Burren... More

Just back from a trip to exploring the Burren with my mother. We received a very warm welcome at Corofin hostel, I camped on site and my mum opted for a bed in the hostel. We both had a great experience here and I certainly will be back. The hostel owner was lovely and gave us lots of tips to... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such nice things about us. The traditional music and dance sessions are starting next week for the summer. Just one of the many inexpensive nights out in the village for the whole family. More
