We stayed here during our trip to Knoxville to see George Strait and Martina McBride. The hotel is very pretty, but the restaurants have a limited menu and they close quite early. There is no shuttle either. The hotel staff and management were very, very nice. We had a catastrophe after the concert of the taxi we booked not showing... More

This was at one time the place to stay. If you look out to the windows to the north you will see several parking garages that all connected to the hotel and the old civic center which in days be gone was probably the p[lace to see everything. Well that time has gone and the Univ. of TENN arena has... More

The hotel staff was very courteous, accommodating and professional!! The hotel property is dated and in desperate need of a remodel! The room was clean but felt more like a "motel" than a Marriott. The hotel is close to the downtown area and convenient parking. Again the staff was amazing, but would most likely not stay at this property unless... More

Stayed there one night. I'm Marriot Elite and coudn't get a room with an outside window. OK so be it. I left something behind when I checked out. My fault. Later that day I called and gal took my name and number promised a return phone call. 24 hours later, no call so I call back. Same promise. No phone... More

it'd be that I could work at a Marriott whenever I'm on the road! We checked into the Knoxville Marriott the night before we were to work a full-day program in the ballroom. From the moment we opened the car doors until the moment we drove away, the service was over the top. These people really know how to run... More

This was a very clean and comfortable hotel. Don't let the facade, which is quite dated, scare you away from this hotel. It was very nice and the rooms were updated. I would stay again. It is located downtown right next to the river. The location is good, but there is not much around there at night. Certainly nothing within... More

My husband and I stayed at the Knoxville Marriott in February 2013. We travel a lot and stay at lots of Marriott properties. This property is an older property. The public spaces have been updated nicely. The rooms are just ok and are in need of a little bit of a facelift. They have the basics and are clean but... More

The room was great! Front desk and check in was excellent. Would definitely recommend if in town for an event in the Knoxville Civic Coliseum as there is a walkway from this property right to it BUT they had the rudest young bartenders that I think I have ever encountered......and I've been to ALOT of bars.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the reviews from others. I guess some are used to staying in Marriotts and expect certain things. We are Marriott rewards members BUT we usually stay in Fairfields or Spring Hill Suits though we have stayed at Courtyard and Residents Inns also. Only once had we stayed at a Marriott in Charlotte and... More

Very nice Marriott in the heart of Knoxville. The hotel is a older property and has free parking. The rooms are very nice and well appointed with everything you'd expect in a full Marriott. I was disappointed with the internet access performance versus the price (10th floor) and found that rooms lack electrical outlets to plug in all the devices... More
