Stayed here while in town to see Garth Brooks. Hotel is old, but impeccably clean, and an incredible staff. Front desk, guest services, resturant were all pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, the pool well maintained, and the morning brunch was good. Stayed on the 10th floor facing the river, which is a great view.

Combine impressive architecture with a commanding view from a hill above the Tennessee River and you have a memorable hotel. The lobby is grand, the rooms a bit small, but comfortable, the beds and shower perfect. Despite claims to be less than a mile from Market Square, it's not an easy walk from the hotel, nor is anyplace else from... More

here on a business trip. Easy check in. Helpful staff. They need to fix the light switch in the bathroom in room 517. Minor issue I forgot to tell them about. Location of other light switches not intuitive. Bed is fine. Salad at Lucy is huge. Breakfast ok only. Pub was good. Very close to downtown.

While traveling we decided to stop in Knoxville overnight before continuing to our final destination. We found the Marriott to be extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to recommending a nearby restaurant. Would recommend to any traveler

This is an amazing building - very unique architecture and a cavernous, but very nice main level at check-in. Main floor bar/restaurant very nice. Some rooms have balconies. The elevator has glass walls so you can see the whole main level as you descend and ascend - very, very nice. Service was exellent and attentive. We only stayed one night... More

The hotel has a little age on it (I stress a "little") but it is beautiful and well maintained. The lobby area and restaurants are wonderful. Rooms are always spacious and I usually get a 2 room suite with the balcony. Nice to stand outside on a pretty night. The entire hotel is very clean and I highly recommend. Staff... More

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful city of Knoxville (for the first time!) for the Destination Imagination Global Finals held at the University of Tennessee, and was housed in this hotel for one week. I will be honest and say that the hotel requires a little updating and touching-up of small things like paint and wallpaper. But,... More

Little disappointed for a Marriott, there was absolutely no one to greet us when we arrived. Hotel could be a little cleaner, sheets needed to be replaced had some holes in them and stains that probably can't wash out anymore. Is in a good location for downtown, free tolley is nice.

I stayed there three times and my most recent visit was very troublesome. The front desk staff were all new, my requested room fridge took three follow up calls to arrive (with a corresponding edge to my tone). The next day housekeeping skipped cleaning my room because apparently I opted into some new program that I was unaware of. Then... More

When I sat on bed I thought I was going to end up in the floor. Way to soft for me. There wasn't a ice bucket in the room. So I take a bag to get some ice, ice machine did not work. When I went to the business center to check on some concert tickets, there was a charge... More

Thank you for your review, and we apologize that you weren't pleased with how soft our beds are. The ice buckets are located inside the armoires in the rooms, but we're sorry about the ice machine. The issue has been corrected, and thank you for bringing it to our attention. While there is a fee in the business center, the... More
