We stayed at this hotel for Tennessee's Orange and White spring game. All the employees were great - very helpful and polite! Stayed on the VIP floor with free breakfast which was only o.k. - not worth the extra cost to stay on that floor. Pool was overcrowded with kids who were there for a state track meet, but that... more

The location was great-convenient to Market Square and both UT and Knoxville's convention centers. I got a great rate on Hotwire, but would not have paid full price for this hotel. It is in need of updating and the restaurant was closed (I stayed during the week). It seemed a little like a ghost town, but probably perfectly appropriate for... more

I have stayed at many hotels in my life. I would have to say this was the worse one yet. The room was dirty, the bed was hard, and the food from their rip off restaurant made me sick that night. However I did not allow this hotel to affect the wonderful I had with my family. more

There were 10 cars in the parking deck all weekend meaning the hotel was empty. After checking in, one of our two rooms was not cleaned and it had a view of a wall. We were offered to move so we did. Second unpack, the kids in the other room had their toilet overflow. Our cable worked the first night... more

We got a great deal using Tripadvisor to search the various travel engines. This place is clearly geared toward the business traveler, which means it is clean, courteous, and has some great amenities. The large indoor pool had great views, as did the exercise room. The exercise room had two treadmills, two ellipticals, and two rowers/other, and a balance. Large... more

I stayed here in late May/early June as I was attending a conference at the Convention Center, which was just across the road. It's nothing particularly special. The room was one of the largest I've ever stayed in in a hote (I had a standard King room), the wireless was reliable and free. Bathroom was OK - clean. The staff... more

A very average hotel, trying to be better than average. The rooms have been remodeled, and are in fairly good repair. But the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. I found both a beer bottle cap and a jacket pin in the carpet under the bedskirt. Underneath the counter it obviously hadn't been scrubbed. I'm hardly a neat freak,... more

The beds in this hotel are the worst I have ever slept on, I couldn't sleep. We were there for a UT game, and the hotel has a great location, but that is about all I could say for it. The staff war not very friendly. We booked two nights, but checked out after the first night because I was... more

Booked here for 2 nights - stayed only one night. Room was clean, bed was very uncomfortable. Staff friendly. Lounge shut down early on Friday night because they "stayed open too late last night" according to bartender. 17.25% tax plus $5 for parking (which is also taxed). Parking fee is NOT explained at check in. We didn't even park in... more

A typical Holiday Inn experience - nothing special although the location was convenient. The service was okay, and the lobby was very nice. The rooms were kind of old, and the beds were not comfortable. The bathroom could have been a little nicer. Overall I thought the price of the hotel room was too high for what we got, although... more
