First time staying here while in town. The negative, rooms are a bit dated and worn out. Hotel was busy which is not the fault of the hotel but elevators took a long time and there is smoking on select floors in the hotel(YUK!) The positive, everything else :) Location is good, fitness center and pool very nice, service and... more
Recently remodeled and very courteous and helpful staff. Dinner in Marty's restaurant was excellent! Internet was lightening fast. Walked to a nightlife district (less than 10 minutes) on my second night. Stayed at the Marriott on my previous visit...will use Hilton from now on. more
This is my first time writing a review on a hotel, but I am doing so because I stayed at this hotel due to the positive reviews on tripadvisor.com. I cannot say enough great words about the Hilton. Overall everything was wonderful: the service, the cleanliness of the rooms and lobby area, the atmosphere - the lobby looks like a... more
Overall, I had a great stay at the downtown Hilton. I ordered room service the first night and it was absolutely delicious, especially compared to other "hotel food" I normally receive at other hotels. Very nice rooms with flat-screen TV, marble in the guest bath, and beautiful view of the mountains. I was visiting my company which is located on... more
I would like to relay my experience with our Knoxville Hilton stay. We were in the Knoxville area because of a wedding and had an early arrival. The front desk was helpful and got us to our room pronto as we were all tired but the air conditioner unit was not working properly and would not heat. We called down... more
My husband and I came to Knoxville to attend a football game in the begining of October. We arrived at the Hilton on friday night and did not need to move our car once, we were able to walk everywhere we went the entire weekend. The hotel was very convenient to Market Square shops and restaurants, as well as other... more
First, this property is extremely overpriced. We had a window air conditioner that sounded like a freight train. The walls were paper thin. Please consider somewhere else. You will be wasting your money staying here. I travel more than the average person and have canceled reservations at future Hilton's because of this stay. I have stayed in Motels with better... more
I won't be as long as some of my other reviews, because most people know what they're getting when they book a Hilton, and this hotel was just that: Comfortable rooms, nice amenities and friendly, competent staff. Location was great for game weekend (plus the Gators won!) — easy walk to Calhoun's, Cumberland (about 20 minutes) or Neyland stadium. Hotel... more
The Hilton Knoxville is a lovely hotel with a great location. The staff was very friendly; my problem was not with the view, appearance or friendliness of the staff, all are excellent. But the set-up and cleanliness of my room was disgusting. We arrived at the hotel late at night expecting to go directly to bed after traveling. Our mistake... more
