My husband and I were exhausted on the way back from Florida to Ohio, and got a room at Scottish Inn because it was lit up. The carpet at the door was duct taped down, the toilet paper holder was duct taped on, there was only 1 lock on the door and the door did not close well, mold on... More

We decided to stay overnight in this hotel on our way to St Louis from NC. We paid $45 for a night and what we got was ok for that budget. Basic rooms with standard amenities. Staff was good. Breakfast was very basic but can't expect much at this price.

So gross & feared for our health & safety! Toilet stopped up, doors didn't close securely, holes in floor, dirty bedding, but worst of all was the smell! It was like a strong moldy smell that didn't go away! My feet were black from carpets/floor. Sleep with one eye open there!

Me and my family was staying here and the elevator broke down with us in it. The fire station had to come get us out after 20 mins stuck in there. But the mgr just gave us 10 dollars off a extra night. That to me was a slap in the face.

This room was ok. Very typical low budget room. I had trouble getting the heat to work right. The room was a room. Just very average, to below average. No extra blankets. Would not stay again if given a choice.

I'm 56 and this was the nastiest, most run-down motel room I've ever had to stay in. As soon as we walked in the door it stank like a dive bar at closing time. The curtain rod was half falling off the wall, the carpet was so filthy and covered with old spills I kept my shoes on until I... More

Scottish Inn has "morning staff" that wakes you up, and will replace towels, change mini trashcan, but that is as good as it gets. There was "blood" on our shower curtain, and they do not clean the floors. I'm curious if they even wash the bedding. I'm about to go for their breakfast curious how that is going to go.... More

We stayed one night in a non-smoking room was suppose to be 48 something ended up being a $20 deposit for a non-smoking room so made it $68 something. I called to see why it hasn't been deposited into my bank yet and the clerk told me it could take 30 days. If I had known that I would have... More
