Stayed here for 2 nights and could not have been happier! Sonny is a great guy, very willing to help out, make conversation and accommodate. He offered to drive me to the nearest outdoor park so i could go running and gave me a great taxi ride to the airport for half of what a cab would cost! 5/5 stars,... More

We had a great time at the Maplehurst Inn. We booked three rooms. Walked to the river to see the VOL Navy, walked to Copelands on the water for dinner, Walked to the football game, paid for a space at the church parking lot to tailgate next to the Maplehurst Inn, after the game. We spent 1,5 weeks in Tennessee and travelled from place to place and from Inn to Inn. The Maplehurst Inn was finally the reason why, we spent a second day in Knoxville. After several nights in more or less expensive Inns, we really enjoyed the tasteful ambience, the comfortable and the reasonable price. It took us a 5 min walk... More

We had a great stay at the Maplehurst B and B on Feb 26,27, and 28th. Having never stayed at a B and B before I was skeptical about staying in someones home and it being uncomfortable. It was nothing like i had anticipated. The house was older and undergoing some mild renovation. Paint, carpet, ect. Upon checkin, we were... More

Had a lovely experience here and will stay again if I'm ever in Knoxville. Very quiet, close to downtown and to UT. My room faced the street, and there was very little street noise. Sonny was the soul of Southern Hospitality, and a pretty decent cook! My only point of concern, and not even for myself, but for those with... More

Hate to say good things so we don't have to compete for a room but-for the price-not bad-an older place but close to everything we wanted to do. Robin and Gerald were very accommodating and eager to make our stay enjoyable. I will come back.

Very cozy place. The staff was very nice as well. We were lucky and were given the penthouse, which has a small balcony with a nice view of the Tennessee River. The Maplehurst is located in a very quiet area of Knoxville, but still walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants.

We stayed here on 11/8/13 for one night and it was horrible. I hate to even rate it 1 star. We would never stay here again. We were assigned the room downstairs by the eating area. After going out to dinner, we came back to our room to discover that the heat was not working. Well, no one stays on... More

My wife and I arrived here really wanting to enjoy this place. We both love quaint, quirky places (hell, I WORK at a quaint, quirky Inn), but this one was one huge disappointment. First off let me say that I generally have the patience of Job and am nowhere near fussy when it comes to cleanliness or decor, but after... More

We stayed here as it was one of the few decently priced places to stay in downtown Knoxville. The place was adorably quaint and decorated prettily throughout with each room having its own style and decor. The penthouse in particular is gorgeous with a great deck. The owner and Robyn were friendly and helpful in recommending places to visit and... More
