The razor-sharp receptionist of a certain age is still there, but retiring soon, I was told, which is sad, because she was one of several pleasant surprises during our recent one-night (And it said volumes about the wisdom of keeping senior citizens active in the workforce, but I digress.) Traveling with our small dog, who (as in another Knoxville hotel... More

This older motel has been refurbished. Has all the expected standards, clean, spacious with a bit of a dark carpet feel. Everything worked, the staff was extremely helpful, and the price was very good. No complaints. You get what you pay for. More

This was really just a stop-off on our way to Nashville but we were pleased with the standards. The lady on the front desk was lovely and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. A number of good restaurants nearby. More

My mother, fiance, friend, and I stayed here while in town for a show. The room had 2 queen sized beds and a pull out...So only my mother and I had to share a bed. The bed itself was incredibly comfortable. The bedding (sheets and comforter) were very soft. I fell asleep within minutes of lying down. There is a... More

Upon checking in, I thought the "older" looking lady would not be helpful. On the contrary: she was quick, sharp, very helpful, great on the computer skills, and tried several things to help us. She even gave us her recommendation for dinner! The room was large, clean, and had wonderful refrigerator for no extra charge. Cute little pool, although with... More

My wife, myself and our two (well behaved) dogs went this weekend to Knoxville to visit our son who attends UTK. He asked us to bring the dogs so he could see them! i had a bad feeling about trying to find a hotel that would accept pets in the Knoxville area and I looked on the internet for hours.... More

I was working downtown and this is a terrific location. The rooms are luxurious and the staff are the greatest. There are also good restaurants close by. More

I 'low-balled' a priceline hotel request and won the Best Western. It was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and was 'half' remodeled. They redid the sinks, countertops, etc. but kept the same furniture (it seemed?-- could have been a choice, i do know). The bed was firm, not my preference, but most others would probably enjoy it. (it... More

I’ve stayed at this Best Western twice while in town for a friend’s annual party. It’s a relatively good location – closer to downtown than the places out in Cedar Bluff and other spots in West Knoxville. It’s right by a grocery store and a few restaurants. The rooms are large for a hotel in this price range, and have... More
