We booked a weekend here and had a lovely visit. The hosts Jerrie & Earl are friendly and enjoyable hosts. The room was very comfortable and the separate entrance was a great feature. There are two rooms, we had the Tennessee Room with a king bed. There is a fabulous wrap around deck with a spectacular view of the river... More

Beautiful room with every comfort of home. The views from the porch are awesome! Jerry and Earl are great hosts, and breakfast was fantastic. We felt very comfortable at the lovely location. Fairly close to some very nice restaurants.

This wonderful bed and breakfast definately has the 'wow' factor, from the moment you walk through the doors to the moment you take in the breathtaking views of the river from the balcony. Earl and Jerrie made us feel so welcome and we certainly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts in the morning. We stayed in the Tennessee room, with private en-suite... More

This lovely bed and breakfast was beautiful and very accommodating. Everything was clean and the hosts were lovely. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. Everything you could have wished for! A full country breakfast! We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to it.

A beautiful setting with great hospitality. Breakfast was incredible. If you go please think about staying for than one night. I recommend you planning on taking advantage of the canoes they have available to go down the river, too.

We stayed here for two lovely nights during a trip to Knoxville in early December. The B&B sits on a bluff with a wonderful view of the river and of the fields on the other side. The location is peaceful and silent, and we were glad we'd chosen to stay in the country. It's close enough to Knoxville that getting... More

We played a tennis tournament in Knoxville a few weeks ago and are always looking for a place to stay besides a hotel room. I was glad we found this place. A spectacular view. All of our friends loved the pics we posted on Facebook. The rooms were super cozy and comfortable. The beds slept great. Jerry and Earl were... More

Jerry and Big Earl were warm and friendly. They welcomed us into their home. The B&B is beautifully decorated, clean with spacious rooms. The view is amazing. A little off the beaten path, it's worth finding this place. Good value and graet breakfast!

I can highly recommend this B&B, as my husband and I just stayed there on our way cross country. It is a beautiful new home, high on a bluff overlooking a wide river in an area of gently rolling hills, yet it is not far from the interstate. The home is beautifully designed and furnished, and Jerrie has thoughtfully supplied... More

I researched and looked for a B&B in the Knoxville area for a quick weekend get-away. All the areas B&B's seemed to have an abundance of bad reviews...then I stumbled upon The River Overlook. From the 1st phone call to Jerrie, I knew this was the place to go...and I was not disappointed. Jerrie and Earl are very gracious hosts.... More
