Another typical Laquinta--good value, excellent attentive staff. This particular Laquinta was originally a Bayfront Inn which means your in for an unexpected treat. Much more luxurious than the typical Laquinta Inn. Larger than average room, Huge bathroom with marble counter tops. Free high speed Internet was just that--not the usual. more

Convenient location near I-40 and minutes from the Casey Jones Village and Ridgecrest Cemetery. This is not a hotel you would want to spend a vacation in, and the décor is somewhat depressing, but if you need to be in Jackson, and this area, it will meet your needs. more

We made reservations 2 weeks prior of a soccer tournament in Jackson. We were suppose to get a non smoking room but when we walked in, there was no doubt it was a smoking room. This hotel was not the cleanest or nicest for the money. The lobby smelled like BO and the breakfast was cramped and messy. We switched out of our first room because there was an army of ants in it. Like many budget hotels, Baymont Inn could use better air ventilation in the hallways, which reek of cigarette smoke. However, the room I got was clean and had a comfortable bed and desk chair.
