We spent one night at the Country Inn & Suites in Jackson, TN on 1/31/08. Although I had a good experience at this hotel in 2003, the individual rooms appear to have deteriorated since that time. Our room was a big disappointment. The carpet was heavily worn and frayed at the bathroom door, the tub grouting needs cleaning, the bathtub hardware is not secure and the rounded bottom of the bathtub does not feel safe for showering. In general this entire bathroom needs to be redone and the room needs updating.

The breakfast was minimal. Furthermore, although the breakfast area was not busy, it was necessary to wait for both the hot water and coffee dispensers to be filled.

I guess we should have been suspicious when we noticed (as we arrived at the hotel) that a large section of the siding had fallen off the hotel's exterior north side and had not been replaced.

We expected more from Country Inn & Suites.
